Easy to reach, paved road for most of the part after taking your turn to Mindūnai, small unpaved portion, which means you will drive in a dust cloud in the busy periods. It's a popular place, many visitors. Parking is available nearly by the tower itself. Weekends are most crowded as at any other attraction. When you climb the tower, you will enjoy gorgeous sceneries of the surrounding lakes and pine forests. Observation deck is few meters wide, every direction offers lovely views, but can get quite crowded and you might find it challenging to take a nice shot without people standing next to you. There is also a pair of binoculars you can use free of cost. After descending you can get some coffee (from the machine, any day) or ice cream (from the kiosks, operating only during the weekends). Be sure to take the wooden path & stairs down to the lake for more amazing views. If the weather is good, you can have a swim as well, so it's recommended to get swimming gear with you!! As the tower is adjestant to the camping site, you can also access changing cabins in it's territory (although the camping side charges 2 euros to enter its territory, left at your conciousness to pay, as there are no check points of any sort). Which might be a good option if you want to rent a boat or canoe or water bicycle from the campsite to extend your visit and enjoy the...

This lookout tower (free) with its pier and swimming spot is definitely worth the stop! The area has been recently upgraded with a new road and a spacious parking lot (free), so it's easy to get to. From the main parking area, it's about a 2-minute walk along a dirt path — manageable for most.
That said, there are dedicated parking spots right under the tower for visitors with limited mobility, which is a big plus.
The view from the top is stunning and well worth the climb. Just a heads-up: the tower can sway a little in the wind — nothing to worry about, but it might catch you off guard if you're not expecting it!
Facilities are good: there's a clean toilet (50 cents, payable by cash or card) and a Lavazza coffee machine if you’re in need of a little caffeine.
All in all, a great spot to stretch your legs, enjoy the scenery, and maybe even take a dip...
