🅿️ 1. Getting there • Easiest access is via Pavilniai Regional Park (car or taxi). • Public transport: buses to Belmontas area + 15–20 min walk.

👟 2. Footwear • Wear comfortable walking shoes — paths can be steep, especially after rain. • Avoid sandals: some parts of the trail have loose gravel.

📸 3. Best time to visit • Morning or late afternoon: soft light for photography and fewer people. • Golden hour here is especially beautiful — the cliffs glow warm tones.

☀️ 4. Weather matters • After heavy rain, trails can be slippery. • On hot days, the forest offers shade, but carry water — there are no kiosks nearby.

Make it a mini-hike: • Puckorių Atodanga viewpoint • Puckorių piliakalnis (mound) • Vilnia River trail • Belmonto mill and waterfalls • Old Puckoriai forts — great for history lovers

🍽️ 6. Food & coffee • The nearest place is Belmonto kompleksas — nice terraces in warm season. • For something cosy, head back toward Užupis or Subačiaus street.

Yes, but: • Keep an eye on kids near the cliff edge. • Choose shorter loops for younger children.

Perfect for dogs, but keep them on a lead near steep edges and cyclists.

I love the view and the amazing GAZEBO on top of the hill! We also had a crazy, incredible bunker exploration adventure. I highly recommend the bunker exploration bit. Do not be afraid, no ghosts or weird people. Also, the palce has a very diverse flora and fauna: a lot of trees, mushrooms (after the rain of course), swamps, crazy frogs, slugs, bugs, caTS, squirrels and most important.... DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!11 I've been there two times and both times I thought I was lost (I wasn't alone, don't worry). BUT both times, luck was on or side. We crossed the scary swinging bridge by the waterfall, we went up up up with machine gun kelly (the rapper) and WE MADE IT! we got to the road, we found civilization before we could be (potentially) mauled by a bear. We did the viral bottle flip on our way back and that's it. WE'LL BE BACK Pūčkorių! We love you Pūčkorių!!

As many people before me have said: absolutely stunning views of a valley. I was hesitant to go because of the winter season, but it is super easy to do. We went in the winter, -10°C, clear skies and sunny. There was a lot of snow.

You can walk from the city center (45-60 min, not the most scenic route but it's an easy path to follow along a big road), or take a taxi/Uber/Bolt (10-15 min drive). There are several hikes you can do from the viewpoint, but the path through the woods was covered with too much ice and snow for us to risk it.

Still, with how easy it was to get here it was definitely worth it for the views. Would love to come back during the other seasons...
