Who is afraid of heights? Me?...Nope... Ahh who am I kidding, of course, I am afraid of heights.
Uno Parkas took me completely out of my comfort zone. The Park offers 4 climbing zip tracks (green, blue, red, and black). I tried the green and blue which are the easiest but seemed challenging to me (especially the blue track). You will have to maneuver through different courses, involvining both arms and legs. Keep in mind all of the maneuvering is done in the heights. You are always tied up to a firm aluminum (?) line so if you slip, you will be safe. However, you still want to complete each course without having to "hang" from the line. It´s instinct.
I did try the zip across the river and the "elephant jump". Both highly recommended. Not sure why they call it elephant jump, I can't imagine an elephant jumping from there. But the name is the last thing you will think about when attempting the jump. You climb up there with an instructor who ties you up to a 16m "see-saw", you hold on to a rope and then you let go. It´s like jumping from a bungee jump but instead of going straight down you swing.
There is a "bonus" track... but after seeing the massive stairs that lead to it I preferred to forget about it, perhaps forever.
Anyway. Great place to face your fears and to walk away happy you did. Healthy fun for all the family.
I will be back for the red and black tracks for sure! Just not today...I need a couple of weeks off.
EDIT: Completed the longer version of the red course. It´s hard. Especially towards the end. Make sure you are not tired if you attempt it. Now...only the black...
Read moreLove it, very friendly and helpfull staff. Went a number if times, this time with our smallest kid, whi is a little small and slim for this park yet. However we managed pretty well thanks to the staff working there. I followed her through all 3 kidish traces. Other 2 were climbing by themselves. Very nice small safety belts. Fun and safe. Minuses: not so easy for kidos to trace the safety belt through the lines, a little costly all-in-all. They should introduce a family card discounts! So we will come back again and again 😉 Also nice to have birthdays there with special places built for thid. Lots of fun for small and...
Read moreVery great ziplining place for people of all ages that atleast have some strength. Smaller courses for children, harder ones for teenagers and adults. Warning - red track's long way course is hard. Definetly try if You're strong, but be careful when You're an average teenager. For 16+ people, do not try the black course if You're not strong. It's doable if You aren't really strong, but strength is required.
