Never applied to this university. They do not understand the value of having international students. They understand only one thing that is business out of your pocket. 1st year will be very welcoming to make you staying at the university. When you will be in the second year, the education will be controlled by faculties. Faculties and many professors are not international student friendly. If any professors attack you personally and discriminate you, faculties will not help you. You will be in lope, from where you will find a solution to move. The education system is soviet style. Do not expect from these people anything. They are not good people. I feel shame to be part of civil engineering faculty. They will lie at your face. Stay away from architecture professor in civil engineering. To be honest, I thank to some good professors who recommended to another university in Italy. Now my education is free. One more thing, migration department can terminate you permit to stay in Lithuania and they are bot organised or the university can cancel your study contract and you might lose your visa or permit to stay here. If you delay to pay your tuition fees, they will email you which states like if you can not pay by tomorrow we will terminate your TRP. Who forces students to pay for their universities like this? I have friends who study abroad. They get respect there. You will never get respect if you are from 3rd world country especially India, Bangladesh,...
Read moreThe first problem is the international office. They just understand the language of money. I am pretty sure they are working on commission basis as in their solution to any problem is pay the fees, retake the semester pay the fees of that semester. The education system is not good while the professor are controlled by the international office members just to keep the students in the dark till the last moment and all of a sudden the professor will not accept your work for no valid reason and when you try to talk to them, the professor starts ignoring your calls and messages and then you have to contact the international office. Ultimately the international office will tell you they can't do anything at the last moment and will tell you to repeat the semester just for that same subject and pay the fees. Exploiting the international students is not good. They should understand the problem and try to help the students rather than extract money from them. I wish there would have been better staff at the international office. I had suffered this problem and was a victim of the international office but some how solved the problem by reaching to the higher authorities of the university. There no specific rules and regulations of the university. Biased and illogical solutions to the problems of the students. Might get proper solution depending on the mood...
