Day 6 of Sandy’s Adventure 💛 Thanks to your lovely recommendations, day 6 of our year long trip saw us visit the beautiful Lüneburg Heide in Germany 🇩🇪 We didn’t plan to visit here, it was all thanks to the recommendations from you guys (one of the many reason why I am grateful for this instagram), so thank you 🙏🏼 I love sharing what we’re getting up to and I thought this style of video with Sandy is the perfect way to show what our days are looking like on this trip. Hopefully watching this makes you smile as much as it makes me smile making it? 🤷♂️ If you’re new here and you want to join our adventures, follow our whole trip here @harrysadvantures 🐾🌍🚐 .. #dogsofinstagram #dogstagram #traveldog #dogsthattravel #rescuedog #straydog #adopteddog #puppy #adventuredog

It's a really great place to go hiking. As i've read on the site (see below) you have different area's where you can start hiking. For me i started at the parking in "Niederhaverbeck visitor parking lot: directly on the L121, Niederhaverbeck 14, 29646 Niederhaverbeck." Here you also have a map on site where you can find a hike of about 3 hours and a half (see pictures). I went there in november at around 14:30-15:00 and started the hike to "Wilseder Berg". This was a great time to come because the sun was low and the views you had were amazing. Also if you want to have a nice view of the sunset then it's only about 4,5km walking (45-60min) to the highest spot of the trail. So you can just go and see the sunset and drive back home if that's something you find more appealing. I have no clue what the people mean with buying a ticket before you enter. I think this mqybe applies for more busy times because i didn't have to pay anything just to enter the hiking trails. Such a beautiful place to go for a hike especially in mid-August while the whole heath starts blossoming. I suggest starting your hike early in the morning especially if the weather is hot or very sunny. The heath has a dry nature and you can find it rather difficult to stay energetic if the sun is blazing. Also in the morning time you’ll have a beautiful breeze mostly and some soft warm sunlight which makes the whole place appear like a paradise. There are hundreds of different trails and when you arrive here on the right time, you’ll see the whole heath blossoming in pink. Lots of birds, and wild life around which you should respect. It doesn’t get more beautiful than this if you’re in Germany and want to enjoy the nature.

Well reachable place from the central station Hamburg with the train to Bremen and you get off at tostedt Station from there you get Heide shuttle which is free ride and we got off at döhle and started hiking from there. Nice forests along the way... Colorful grasslands You can also bike the trail, nice 360 views of landscapes from the wilfeder Berg
