Wasserbillig Aquarium — Attraction in Mertert

Yes, it is small. And some of the aquarium is not so rich. However it is absolutely wonderful for my 3years and 1years old children. They have ~12sweet water aquarium and 3+1salt water one. Nemo and senilia fish included ;)

We even needed to go back at the same day :) And don't forget the ticket is only 3eur, so worthy.

Also nice to know the river is 10meter from there, a bistro also top of them, a playground also 10meters from here.

I guess we will go there many times because it so close, so cheap and small, so I don't need to oreoer myself for...

It will seem very small if you've ever been to any kind of Oceanarium, though for our 4 y.o. son it was enough to watch some species that he has never seen naturally swimming (like piranhas or sea horses) 😍 To my surprise, we spent quite a lot of time there watching the fish ❤️ The only thing is that aquariums are stillvery tall for 1 meter height child. Nice small aquarium with parking next to it, a restaurant and a playground for kids.

Don’t expect this to be the aquarium like ones in big cities otherwise you will be sorely disappointed.

Great for kids to have a look and then they can play in the playground or you can take a nice walk along the river behind the building.

Also only 3€ for entry which is reasonable considering how small it is (children under certain age are free, mine was 17...
