My visit in 2023 was very nice. But after June 2024 the entry prices doubled. Especially for foreigners the price is high. They used to have a middle price for foreigners who are residents, but they've scraped that now, so anyone who was not born in Madagascar has to pay 10 times the local rate. The prices on the website also aren't up to date. The trip to get to the parc is unpleasant because the roads are terrible. You can go by car or by tuktuk, but it will cost a lot. We went by tuktuk, but when we arrived we found out how much the price has increased. On top of that you get charged extra if you want a guide, and if you want to walk a bit further to see the waterfall. It felt like we were being extorted. They also do not have a card machine so if you don't bring enough cash you are basically stuck. Because everything was so expensive, we opted to go without a tour guide, but then you don't get a chance to hold or feed the animals. Also if you do get a tour guide, ask specifically for a zoologist because the other guides cannot feed the animals. Overall, I would say that the experience you get is not really worth the...

Wear long sleaves and comfortable shoes. Toilet facilities do not flush, make use of water buckets to flush toilets. Overall the zoo is clean, cages are clean and variety of lemurs make it worth the visit. Longer tours/lookout points and waterfalls not recommended if you have small children, its a long walk. Besides the lemurs in cages there is also wild lemurs roaming the trees. Go early before the school...

The directions to the zoo entrance were almost non-existent, so as first-time visitors we had to find the ticket office on our own. Some sections of the park were closed off without any explanation. (Our bad for not taking a local guide !) The restaurant was closed, and there were no snacks available. We finished our visit in the afternoon when the kids were starving, and we didn’t expect that there would be...
