Cape Maclear is one of the most beautiful places you can ever see. Such a crazy amount of fish, prestine water.... But there is something wrong with the place, and it's because there is something wrong with Malawi.
The country is so amazingly poor and so badly managed. Everything is so expensive, and everyone is trying to trying to do you over. If you negotiate a price, be sure it'll change and you'll be paying more.
The sheer desperation of Malawians, makes you feel guilty for living in normality. I know this is insensitive, but on holiday I don't want to be smacked in the face constantly with the injustice of the world.
