In case i don’t say it enough, Thank you for every meal that you’ve paid for. Thank you for every time that you’ve driven me. Thank you for every place that you take me. Thank you for every flower you’ve gotten me. Thank you for every sunset / sunrise you’ve watched with me. Thank you for every thoughtful message you’ve sent me. Thank you for every stupid idea you’ve agreed to do. Thank you for putting up with my mood swings. Thank you for being a good listener. Thank you for showing me that love is real. But.. I’m sorry. I need to go. I need to stop all of this. I can’t take it anymore. This burden too heavy for me. I can’t keep hurting you. This is wrong. I’m doing a wrong thing. I need to go. I need to disappear. I am so sorry for hurting you. You came in my life at the wrong timing. This is not me. I’m sorry because of my bad past lead me to this path. I’m sorry you met a bad side of me. I need to go and stop all of this. I’m sorry. Take care.

The Bukit Ampang Lookout Point (ALOP), situated near Kuala Lumpur, is poised to reopen as an ecotourism attraction. It boasts stunning panoramic views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. The redevelopment project, a collaborative effort between the Selangor government and Pearl Holiday Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, encompasses amenities such as food and beverage areas, event spaces, and camping-based accommodations. ALOP aims to strike a balance between tourism and environmental conservation, preserving the Bukit Ampang forest reserve. Phase One is anticipated to launch next year, covering only 20% of the forested area. The allure lies in the remarkable view and its proximity to Kuala Lumpur, with plans to feature well-known names from the Malaysian street food scene.

This viewpoint offers a wide panorama of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline—though it probably shines its brightest during sunset or at night. Visiting during daylight hours feels a bit like catching a movie halfway through the credits. Perched on a bend in a mountain road, there’s no official parking, but that hasn’t stopped plenty of cars from lining the roadside and turning it into a bit of a thrill ride for passing drivers. If you’re thinking of making a U-turn here, think again—it's safer to drive far ahead and find a proper spot to turn around. There’s a small stall along the way, but once you’re near the top, you’re on your own. Best to grab any essentials before you get too close—unless you enjoy the challenge of being unprepared at the top of a hill.

Don't judge this place by my poor quality photograph, the view from here is truly pretty. I heard that there used to be street vendors selling snacks before but it looks like those days are long gone... There's still quite a crowd who comes by there to just sit and chill or talk with the mates but it's not to the extent that people will come and encroach your space. You can walk around a little, since the view point stretches out about a 150meters and across the road, there's a smaller peak (not really a peak, maybe a hill) from which you can both get a better view and sit on large boulders too.

This is not a proper sightseeing spot, as it is by the road side without proper car parks! To make it worse it is actually a junction. Those who wants a proper views will have to illegally stop by the road side thereby increasing the risk of car accident. Having said that, the view is fantastic and it is free. Just make sure you park safely (away from the junction) and don't block the road or views. Better still, go have a drink at The Salty Cafe nearby where there is proper car park and seating, offering the same view.
