KELAMBU BEACH ⛱️ Kudat, Sabah, Malaysia 🇲🇾 Kelambu Beach is a one of the stunning coastal destination located in Kudat, Sabah, Malaysia, known for its serene atmosphere and natural beauty. The beach features soft sandy shores with clear blue waters, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying scenic ocean views. Its relatively quiet and less commercialized vibe attracts visitors seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of busier beach areas. The natural surroundings include some rocky formations and gentle waves, offering a picturesque environment perfect for both leisure and exploration. Though less known, Kelambu Beach is indeed one of the best beaches in Sabah with its clear aquamarine sea and beautiful white sand engulfed by astounding verdant islands. The inviting clear waters offer a variety of activities while the wonderful beach, on the other hand; is a perfect spot for family picnics, romantic strolls by the beach, seashells collecting or simply to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. On the way to Kudat, be sure to make a detour to Kelambu Beach where you can sit back and delight in the beauty of nature’s best!

This place could be more than 5 stars without the rubbish around the beach. You have the most amazing view and hideout beach that could be recognised around the world but spoiled by the plastic bottles around and rubbish that is left behind by the local after enjoying their picnics and selfies. Kelambu Beach is under the Kudat Tourism Management. Save this place, it's a waste to see such amazing nature being destroyed. Educated the people about cleanliness of the beach. Don't be lazy to pickup your rubbish and throw it at the rubbish bin nearby. Teach those younger and older generation how to use the rubbish bin! 😑☹

Beautiful firm sandy beach near the northern tip of Borneo. Clean water and at low tide, you are able to walk to the small island across. Be wary not to get stranded when the tide comes in ! The only drawback is the plastic debris washed up at the hightide mark. Ugly Sight. Wonder if the local authorities are aware of this. Doesn't seem like a difficult task to clean up though.

Loses a star for the rubbish, which although not excessive, ruins the mood nonetheless.

The main feature here is the "double beach" - essentially a sand bar leading out to an island a short distance offshore. Gentle waves wash onto both sides of the sand bar.

The water here is good - green/blue in colour. The sand, while decent enough, is not as nice as that at Kalampunian Beach a short distance away.

Good to know: bring your own water to wash off the sand or salty residues, since there are no public facilities (e.g. beachside shower) here, or any other beach is Sabah, for...
