We had a wonderful time here because we enjoyed each other's company and had a ton of laughter trying to take these images, 🤣😂 and the amazing view of Kota Kinabalu. 😍 we could imagine a wedding couple celebrating their nuptials here or someone celebrating their 21st here. It could have been such a wonderful spot.

You know me and I try only to say the good things about places. However, the amount we paid (as foreigners) for entry and a drink is a little unjustified. Here's why

It is out of the way, and you will need to join a tour or rent a car to get here. Sure, you can take a ride by e-hailing service or taxi, but I doubt you can find your way back. While we love the amazing view and cooler temperatures, the premises sadly aren't well maintained. Flora and fauna within were wilting, and it was a sad state. The tree house was out of bounds, I think that the floorboard isn't safe. There was also a segment of a bridge that had fallen off. We wonder if it's due to rust. It's not a good place for kids. Be sure to keep your eye on them at all times The drink we had was a can of soya bean and root beer, and a small bottle of guava "juice"

The images you see in these past reviews are the past glory days of this tourist spot that once was. Now, it's just 😐 Wish I could say this is a spot that we would come back to... unfortunately, it...

Owner is very rude and greedy. Place is a bit run down, little maintenance, no proper parking. First question we were asked is where are you from. Locals were RM10. Foreigner they wanted RM100 per person with a "meal" (which wasn't specified but for RM10 couldn't have been much) or RM90 with a "welcome drink". I actually laughed because I thought it was a joke. We have been to many tourist places in Sabah and each place was fairly standard at a few RM for locals and for foreigners RM20 for adults and RM10 for children (under 2 free), seemed to be the norm. I understand the 2 tier pricing system as a lot of countries have this. We probably would have paid the R20 that we had at other places, despite the lack of facilities, but RM100 per person is just greedy. No wonder he doesn't have customers. When I called him to ask why it was so expensive compared to other places, his exact words to me were "if you don't like it then just leave". Seems like a great...

The view of KK is fantastic and they had some nice live entertainment. However, the service isnt great. We wanted to order some drinks and were told we had to use the app .. which didn't work. We then had a lengthy discussion with staff for what should have been a very easy, quick transaction. Didn't eat there because they said they weren't serving the tables on the veranda. Why, I dont know especially as there were 10 of us. Seems like a missed opportunity for them! We would have happily stayed. The one thing I would guard against is using the toilets there. ABSOLUTELY BEYOND DISGUSTING. For this reason alone I will never return. Management, you are now charging entry (before was free), the least you can do is clean the...

A tour guide recommended me to visit Kokol Hill on my first day in KK, then I said yes to visit this remarkable place that everyone has been. A beautiful place located at a top of a hill, overlooking from KK. ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Yet, the best place for instagramers who are looking for a place where they can take a wonderful picture of their friends or their lovers. 📸📸📸 A huge swing for a perfect opportunity to take photographs of your girlfriend, but be careful try not to swing it so hard. Always like to cuti-cuti Sabah everyday, well why not try to visit this Kokol Hill to see the view of KK today!!!😁😁📸📸
