Ignoring the possibility of cloud cover, the views would be more stunning towards the evening when the Sun is shining from the front (the lookout faces NE). In the morning, visitors risk getting a washed out shot due to the glare of the sun. Overcast mornings produce good photos. The lookout also looks into the Kiau Valley and northwards towards Mt. Nungkok.
Parking is easily available at the lookout, however a section of the road leading out has very deep holes and requires drivers' attention. The lookout attracts mostly local travelers and foreigners. Sitting is fairly sufficient.
