The place in town to get your terubok fish ( ikan terubok) both salted and non salted. Cheaper ones usually smaller are the imported ones from Thailand, Buy the bigger and more expensive ones they are from the local catch. The more you buy then you can bargain for a discount. The fishes are nicely packed and sealed for you to bring back on board as hand carry.Satok market have 2 parts the wet and the dry market. For lunch you can ascend upstairs at the far end of the wet market , there is a staircase there for you to walk up, behold a Malay restaurant and cafe - halal food. Before the wet market will be stalls selling dry kolo mee, Sarawak pepper and belacan nice packaging for you to bring back as souvenirs gift for your friends, relatives n boss. On the dry market section, you may shop for the famous cake " kek lapis" Thumbs up for Nazzery stall selling cheese kek lapis of various varieties, like ori, blue berries, mocha etc. Free small pieces samples for you to try. OMG i bought them all! So tasty Yummy@ RM10 a bar, and offer of 5 bar get 1 bar free. Enjoy your shopping One Stop for all Sarawak products in Satok...

Awesome! It is recommended for the flower lover to get the better price for indoor plants, flower and for a garden. You can ask for a discount besides had a lot of choice from different seller.

To those who want to get the souvenir that had a Borneo motif and Sarawak signature , there were a lot of cloth, handbag, craft etc offer. Also you can ask for discount. Not only that, the dish offer liked laksa, mee goreng, mee jawa, nasi ayam, bakso, and drink from the food stall. To those who love to cook by themselves, the fresh meat, seafood, vegetables, fruit were sale over there.

And to those love to have their own pets like kitty, hamster, gold fish etc, there was a shop sale for this kinds of things including the aquarium accessories.

That believe or not? You can get the various of parfurm to bottle according to your choice. While waiting members done their window shopping or tour around the Sunday market, you can spend in the salon. Yes, there was a salon service inside the Satok Niaga kioks (small space).

To those who come to having a trip to Sarawak, it is recommended place to visit especially when it...

They start at evening of Friday. I went on Saturday at 7am. For those who never been here, it has 3 main areas. 1. Shaded area near the complex. Normally people buy the ikan terubok masin here. And various fresh seafoods. 2. Local products (kerepek, belacan, cencaluk, flowers, and fresh meats). 3. Sayur sayur, buah and pisang zone.

You can find almost everything here. And do bring your own trolley because you will need it. Sakit bah tangan nak shopping but buying fruits heavy but still wanna browsing window shopping around.

Advisable to go early morning. You can be done by 8.30 am and wont stuck in a jam. You can park either at Kubah area or upwell area.

Most of them are still using cash, so bring your cash. They do have one ATM machine in the building in case you need any. They are open from evening Friday until...

This place has great potential, but there are several areas that need improvement: Many food stalls are closed – more than half were not operating, which made the place feel quite empty. Dim atmosphere – the lighting is rather poor, giving the area a dull and less inviting vibe. Overpriced food – the prices are high compared to the quality, which is quite ordinary. Attractive location and design – the government has provided a nice and well-planned venue, but vendors need to be more strategic in attracting customers. With high prices and average food, it will be difficult to encourage people to come back. 👉 Overall, Kubah Niaga Medan Satok has the facilities and setting to be a great spot, but it needs better lighting, more active vendors, and more reasonable pricing to truly thrive.

A weekend market which (decades ago) was originally Satok Market relocated to this location. You can get everything such as fruits, vegetables to poultry / fish products, plants & some local handicrafts at a decent price here. Occasionally there are also pets like chicks or goose available. The variety of plants range from fruit trees, succulents, orchids, airplant/tillandsias to flowering plants are for sale ONLY on weekends here. There is also a dining area, with local food and drinks within the vicinity. Come early as parking gets harder to secure when the crowd increases & before the market closes (~4pm on Saturday & 12pm on Sunday)
