This is a starting point for most hikers of the Mount Kinabalu in Sabah.. It is located from the main city about a 2 hours drive.. Hiker are properly guided here and hiking starts at breaking dawn. I have attached picture of the summit trail as u can get an example of the hike.. the shortest and easiest route takes a minimum of a full 2 days 2 night journey to the top.. there is a longer route as shown in the map... I have also attached a picture of certain rules and guidance where u can see and be slightly prefer if you are planning your hike.. Not only for hikers but it's a great place for u to visit and a good viewing point of the mountain scenery.. There are also a squirrel feeding point as shown in my pictures... you can bring some peanuts and have a memorable experience of feeding wild squirrels of the mountains where with time has started to feel slightly comfortable with humans.. Overall it will be a great road trip.. To visit there is no entry fee.. But there would be for hikers.. Also there are washroom facility there for travellers...

Moreover there is nothing inside except hotel and restaurant and the inaccessible gate to feed...
