Sungai Bangan or also known as Sungai Balu is located in Hulu Dungun, Terengganu. It is very famous for the clarity of the water which seems to give the impression that it is green or blue. But it is quite difficult for you to get here because it is located 800m above sea level. In other words, you need to hike first. To get to Sungai Bangan, you have to climb Puncak Chemerong, Gunung Berembun, and also Langsir Waterfall. This climb is also better known among hikers as CBL. You can start climbing at Chemerong Recreational Forest in Hulu Dungun. It takes a long time to climb and reach the river, about 2-3 days.
