Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club — Attraction in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

I felt I needed to write this review after spending so much time researching courses in this area and reading so many mixed reviews. We played here in the early morning and upon arrival we got to the bag drop area and nobody was there. When the attendant showed up he instructed me to take my bags out of the car and put in the rack. Check in counter had nobody there , as we waited 10 minutes. The staff around the club house were generally useless and lazy and people not familiar with Asian golf might find getting started there confusing. Once we got on the course we found it to be in fair condition , but in need of some water. Some bunkers were not raked and divots on fairways not repaired. Most concerning were the amount of pitch marks on the greens that nobody had even attempted to repair. We opted to use only one caddy , he was helpful and had great knowledge of the course. The course ( meadows & lakes) was not particularly challenging for me as a high handicapper , although I did play a good round. It was an enjoyable course to play but needed some more effort put in to bring it up to Asian standards. This course is better then most courses I’ve played in Australia but below standard for Asian golf, both in customer service and course condition. We played midweek and the price was very cheap for Asian golf ,so I felt it was good value for money. If you want the premium Asian golf experience than this course is not for you. I recently played a round at your course and would like to share some feedback. The course layout is well-conceived, and several holes present a commendable challenge for golfers of different skill levels. That said, I noticed a lack of maintenance, especially at the tee boxes where the grass is long and uneven. Regular trimming and proper upkeep would significantly improve the playing experience and help maintain the course’s standard.

Although it's a couple hours drive from KL, this golf course is worth the drive there. It's an old course, which is reflected in the condition of the clubhouse facilities, it's all working but obviously dated. However most important is the course itself.
