A beautiful beach. Replacing Desaru as the healing and holiday attraction. I love the sand, kinda different from Malacca Straits beaches like PD or Teluk Batik.

Hence the South China Sea have softer/earthy texture sand. Kinda muddy for sand castle😂. But my kids love it. It just the public toilet for ladies have been on maintenance quite a long time. Ladies need to share the same toilet building with men (with separate wall and Q, of coz), the shower & toilets cubicles are not to much, then the Q will be very long and waiting would be an exhausting moment.

I hope the management take this seriously. Please add more cubicles or open shower.

You can buy picnic mat and some snacks here. I can say this place still have reasonable price compare to PD, Lumut/Teluk Batik, etc.

Parking is RM3 per entrance. Paid during exit. The parking field are quite limited. But you can park outside the compound and...

Just RM3 for parking and you can enjoy this beautiful coastline. No words can describe the beauty of this place. The photos and videos I took are untouched and are straight out of the original.

There is also a public toilet and bath room, toilet each need to pay RM0.50, and bath room is RM1, do not worry about no toilet and bath room.

It is also very suitable for camping here, the coast is planted with a large number of trees to block the sun, and the ground is relatively firm to firmly fix the wind rope.

There are tarmac parking along the coast, and there are plenty of vendors selling food. There are also beach bikes and kayaks to rent, but it depends on the weather.

Overall, this is a very civilian and beautiful seaside area, perfect for anyone to come here for a boring weekend...

About an hour drive from JB. Enter Ulu Tiram toll on the Senai Desaru Expressway. Exit at the very end. Total journey about 50 min. Toll rm 9.90. Scenic drive. I was suprised by the 2nd half of the highway 1on1 lane, but there was this MAJESTIC bridge crossing the Sungai Johor! Beautiful!!

Tanjung Balau beach is peaceful, lesser crowd & cleaner than Desaru beach. Parking is free unlike in Desaru. Too bad Marybrown closed down. Next to the beach is a private owned chalet with a long beautiful jetty straight out into the beach.

Its just next to Muzium Nelayan. The beach has this amazing path thru the rocks, out on the sea! Its coast is shallow not like Desaru more inclined. No jet skis here, no sound pollution. Love...
