My cousin and I have heard so much about Taman Botani and read about it from the website. So today we decided to visit Taman Botani. Our expectations were high and we were prepared to spent more than one hour walking around the park to take in all that we have read and heard about Taman Botani. We were utterly taken aback when we reached there and saw the condition of the park. It was practically deserted. The undergrowth were overgrown. The βhomestayβ needs a coat of paint and proper upkeep. We couldnβt locate the garden cafe. Overall we were utterly disappointed, and left as soon as we could. There is so much potential in this beautiful park if only there is proper maintenance. Hope the management will look into this...

It was worthwhile driving all the way here for sightseeing. Awesome, 99 hectares and can't complete exploring all within few hours. Beautiful fauna and flora and caught sight of monkeys and some inhabitants of this botanic garden. Beautiful lakes/old iron mines and well-maintained. Tranquility /serene atmosphere. Highly recommended for chilling out. Fresh air guaranteed and peaceful feeling assured. πππππ

I managed to only explore the park a bit due to its closing time at 7pm, the scenery here is very beautiful especially at the lake side. It is a good place to hang out with family and kids, with a playground inside for kids.
Beware with the monkeys wandering around though.
