1st of all, the place is really deserted. So getting a grab there isn't an issue, but u'll need to arrange/prebook a transport out.
Next, the rates are on the higher side. 80rm for 4hrs of fishing. Rod rentals at 50rm which doesn't include their house hook and spring which according to the workers, must be used.
I wanted to use their live bait but the hook was so small. So they suggested to cut the live bait up to use. Same issue, hooks were too darn small for the fish to bite. Keep getting misses.
I brought my own size 5/0 hooks and told them I would debarb the hooks and I wanted to use them. Workers insisted that the house hooks must be used. Which makes no sense. If you are using live bait, with a dumb spring behind the hook, the presentation for fishing is complete rubbish.
They have so many weird rules.
Other than that, the place is pretty comfortable and relatively clean for fishing. The fishing area for walk in customers have seats and fans and sinks.
They don't have small change or any change for that matter, yet they do not accept credit cards. So tourists like myself need to prepare more loose change.
In the 4 hours there with 2 rods my family landed on 2 fish.
There were a couple of takes but like I said earlier..for fishing chao praya cat fish, using a size 3/0 hook...

Staff : 2/10 - The good staff all left, or they just work the midnight shift. Newer staff members are rude don't know how to net the fish and handle customer tackles. Breaking snaps, and simply cutting line is a norm.
Fish : 1/10 - Before it the place opened for 24hours, you could at least get 5-10 fishes in 4 hours, making your money's worth. Now for 4 hours, u will be lucky if you get 1-2 fishes. Either, fishes are dying, or either the fishes are just too full from constant feeding from anglers due to the opening hour. The fishes are also quite badly cared for. Half the time you can expect to be foul hooked by the fishes when they have half hanging hooks with fishing lines left from previous anglers using improper poundage. They should do checks before allowing anglers to start fishing as sometimes you can see anglers fishing with light tackles and it just ruins the experience for regulars and new anglers alike. Staff should put more care into having a closed period to do clean ups.
Environment : 4/10 - Typical pre 24hr time up till now. Nothing's changed.
If you want to fish, there are...

About an hour drive from Subang, this pons is located in Hulu Langat The trip and drive was fairly straight forward except the last 500m, on the dirt road. I'd recommend driving a 4x4 for a smoother experience.
The pond is clean and the environment is very relaxing. They have designated tables and chair, equippd with fans and lights and a sink to wash up.
There are a few toilets/ showers available and a surau for prayers. For food, i'd recommend you "dapao" something as there is no canteen yet, only a vending machine for drinks.
NOW! For the fishing part, they say there's no such thing as guarantee catch, but here, i dare say, you would land at least one! KONFIRM!
You can only use their bait and their hooks, sold at the registration counter. Price: RM 80 per rod (4 hours) RM 20 per packet bait (dedak) RM 5 per...
