This hike is pretty straightforward and easy. Alot of paved road. You can go to the hiking trail following the signs along the way. Thankyou to whoever did that those were helpful signs. The people who hike, exercive, bike there are mostly regulars, so ask if you are not sure.
I havent explored all viewpoints there yet, havent seen the waterfall. But i heard that the path there has become more difficult because of construction, im not sure. Will find out. I included the info from the signs by the entrance if you need it.
I liked the cloudscape viewing point, called xiao huang shan. Reallllly scenic view of clouds and nature landscape. Loved it!

Beginners can use the asphalt road all the up to level 3 & 4 for breathtaking views - lion rocks view & sea of clouds respectively. Seasoned visitors can opt for trail routes both easy and challenging are available. Lesser visitors on weekdays but have to be careful of lorries plying up/down the hills, especially after 8.00am. Weekends have more visitors but lesser/minimal vehicles plying the asphalt routes. Nonetheless, if you are game on trails ... no encounter with vehicle issues... just you and the nature. Have many paths from easy to difficult. Can walk on tarred road (with rough sections), drive up (very limited capacity, if you want to go to pond or sightseeing), cycle (must be very fit) or hike (any fitness level, just slow). The initial ascent can be brutal.
Have many pockets of activities like fishing, waterfall, jungle tracking, enjoy sunrise/sunset, picnics, barbecue, R&R, biking, climbing. Most stops have shelter from sun and rain.
