Berangan Aqua Park-muslim pool — Attraction in Kedah

Never know that SP has such kind of place. Entrance way should be upgraded a bit, quite bushy and need some maintenance. Price is reasonable; RM9/person, kids 3 years old and below free entrance. Large parking area and do not need long working to entrance. Foods are not allowed to be brought into. Got stall selling packaged food (nasi lemak, nasi tomato etc), drinks and some dessert. Got shower room too and changing room, however shower rooms need to be installed with proper equipment since the shower is leaking, very limited hooks too. The pool size is not very large but it can fit quite large amount of people so i would say worth the price, water is shallow since this pool is more for kids. Benches are all around the pool and they provide locker too, need to pay for the locker. Muslims can pray at the surau located outside of the pool (outside of the pool range), can fit 5 people...

Cheap entrance ticket. Children below 3 y/o can enter for free. Only one big shallow pool for kids with one water slide. Around 3 toilets each for men and women, and another 3 changing rooms if im not mistaken. Surau is located outside the park, near the parking and event hall. Ample seatings around the pool. No outside food and drinks allowed including baby food which i find this policy as nonsense. How do I make the milk for my baby when I am not allowed to bring the warm water tumblr and plain water bottle? Baby cereal also not allowed. As if I can feed my baby the laksa they sell inside.

P/s: This place is strictly for Muslims. I dont know what’s the real reason behind this policy. I suggest to put a signboard “no dog allowed” “no pork/alcohol allowed” “no bikini” instead of saying...

First of all, this place is Muslim friendly. The location is not hard to find, just use Google maps and you can find it. If you come early, you can park near the entrance but if not the parking space is 600m away from the entrance with provided buggy which will transport you from the parking to the entrance (but only one buggy provided). Generally speaking, the pool is good for kids. Not to deep not too shallow. There is only one water slide for kids. Toilet and changing room is clean. Entrance fee is RM9.00 for adult (can't remember fee for kids). There is a stall that sell foods as you can't bring any outside food. Overall it is an okay place to bring your kids to play....
