Kaki Gunung Jerai — Attraction in Kedah

Best place to bring your kids and families for holiday. There are many activities you can try there and of course you need to pay for each of them such as sky view, flying fox, skydiving and etc at the lobby. You can find the lobby near the cafe. It's recommended to come early in the morning if you don't want a hard time to find parking. You can park either at the 'kaki gunung' or at the resort area. After lunch, there will be a long line up waiting to park so better to come early. The road is also very thrilling, so make sure you service your car and tyres in good condition before coming. The food is a bit pricey but it's worth trying. There are also souvenir places for you to bring home some 'memories'. Since the path is so high to climb, it's better to wear flat shoes. There are many paths that will bring you to different locations. You can try it all. There are many insta spots here so bring your camera and a good 'photographer'. It's not just about the mount, on your back at the 'kaki gunung', there are many stalls selling corns. The price is very affordable and tastes so good. You must try it if you come to...

Enjoyable experience during my first visit to Kedah. Beautiful resort, I think it's worth to stay at The Jerai Hill Resort. Advisable to book in advance.

You can park at the lower ground before hiking up by paying RM5/car. From there, you can choose to go by van (additional charge apply) or drive to the hill. If you choose to drive on your own, then you can park at the allocated parking area before entering the resort. Limited space is available here. For non-guest resort, we need to pay RM2/person.

Few cafes/ eateries are available in the resort. They also have strawberry farm, waterfall, dino park, and some other fun activities. Please mind the weather & check before coming. Btw, the trip to the hill can be challenging due to narrow, winding & steep roads. And at this time around, they do plenty of reconstruction....

Super beautiful place,you must visit. 2 hours from Penang, i drove up, just to pay RM5 for car. You also can take whole van cost RM100(can carpool). A lot of visitor during holiday.

Driving up have to be slow, around 10 plus 180 degree turn. There are alot of monkeys, creating a special and fun driving experiance. Enterance fees is just RM2.

A bit hard to find parking. Buy still possible. Temperature around 21 degree celcius, is windy during raining. A lots of flower, and adventures activityavailable like sky bike.

A restaurant serve cakes . Ala carte of food during lunch not available during my visit at 11am, the reason is, they have just serve buffet in the morning. Can buy snacks, cakes, bread, drinks at the cafe.

Bring your umbrella,in case raining, is slippery at the restaurant area...
