Taman Jubli Emas, Alor Setar — Attraction in Kedah

Nice place with tracks for walks. It’s area usually clean except on weekends when people come during evening time to picnic, the next morning you will see rubbish everywhere. People need to be more civic minded to keep the place clean & throw rubbish into rubbish bins instead of all over the park & sometimes into the lake. Few occasions can see the cleaner have to rake the rubbish out from the lake, pity them.

The musical fountain which was constructed was never really opened for public viewing. The gates to the place is always closed. Waste of resources, the state government should make it as a tourist attraction & air some shows on specific days. The toilets are big & clean, however lacking in hand soap &...

dead at night after 7pm, don't buy into the news of musical fountains during weekends / PH and all those BS.. personal experience... the local authority is not doing its job, no revenue, no nothing... living in the dark ages and going backward gates are closed and not an open place roads leading to it are a hazard at night with ZERO street lamps (and don't mention temporary, it's been years according to locals) even the scarce amount of reflectors are poorly placed.. low IQ construction at its best, apathetic to the rakyats safety... nothing glorious, skip this place if its on your itinerary of...

Love this place. Especially on the weekend's evening. A lot of activities for kids. Some of the activities are feeding the fish, horse riding, playing with bubbles, ATV for kids, etc.

You can buy the fish food only for rm1 per pack. The bubbles range from rm3-rm5 (depends on the stick's design).

The facilities (surau and toilet) are clean enough. No complain there.

Lots of foodtruck and stalls availables. Delicious food and drinks.
