Beautiful, The scenery of this place is really beautiful. It is such a pleasure to walk in a beautiful casuarina forest with fine sand under your feet. Thank you Kelantan for giving us such a beautiful land. Exploring the Tranquil Beauty of Pantai Geting, Kelantan

Nestled on the northeastern coast of Malaysia, Pantai Geting is one of Kelantan’s hidden gems. This serene beach, located in Tumpat district, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. While it may not be as famous as other Malaysian beaches, Pantai Geting charms its visitors with its simplicity, natural beauty, and authentic local vibe.

Pantai Geting is known for its long stretches of golden sand, calm waves, and breathtaking sunsets. It is a favorite spot for locals who come here to relax, enjoy picnics with family, or take leisurely evening walks along the shore. Fishermen can often be seen along the beach, and their traditional wooden boats add a picturesque element to the coastal scenery.

One of the highlights of visiting Pantai Geting is experiencing the unique culture of Kelantan. The beach is close to traditional fishing villages, where visitors can observe the daily lives of the local people and even sample some of the region’s delicious food, like nasi dagang or keropok lekor. On weekends and holidays, small food stalls open up along the beach, offering local snacks and drinks.

Although Pantai Geting is not heavily developed, its peaceful and untouched atmosphere is exactly what makes it special. Whether you’re a traveler looking to relax or someone interested in experiencing authentic Malaysian coastal life, Pantai Geting is worth a visit.

Getting There: Pantai Geting is located about 15 kilometers from Kota Bharu, the capital of Kelantan. It can be reached by car or taxi, and the journey takes around 30 minutes.

Tips for Visitors: • Visit during sunset for the most stunning views. • Bring your own picnic or snacks, especially on weekdays when fewer stalls are open. • Respect local customs, as Kelantan is known for its traditional and conservative values.

Pantai Geting may not be flashy or modern, but its calm charm and cultural richness offer a refreshing and memorable...

Geting Beach in Tumpat, Kelantan, is a wonderful hidden gem where you can enjoy both relaxation and adventure. The beach stretches with soft golden sand and refreshing sea breezes, making it the perfect spot for families, couples, or friends to spend a day by the sea. One of the highlights of my visit was riding a buggy along the beach—it was so much fun! The experience of driving across the sand with the sound of the waves in the background gave me a real sense of freedom and excitement.

The atmosphere here is very local and authentic, with friendly vendors and plenty of space to relax or have a picnic. It’s a popular spot for Malaysians, yet it still feels calm and not overly crowded compared to other tourist beaches. The wide coastline makes it ideal for activities like kite flying, beach games, or simply walking while enjoying the sunset.

If you are looking for things to do in Kelantan, Geting Beach should be on your list. It combines the beauty of nature with fun outdoor activities, and the buggy rides are something both adults and children will enjoy. Whether you want adventure or a peaceful day by the ocean, this beach has it all. A highly recommended stop when...

Mixed reaction here 3 places worth the visit The first will be Pantai Geting itself where locals & tourists throng the seaside to enjoy the breeze, snacks, maggi celup and all sorts of beach activities. Kids flying kite, beach soccer, Car groups gathering along the wide stretch, family picnic & all sorts. 2nd place to visit would be the dried fish shop where they process dried fish, shrimp, squid, budu. Walkaround & you will see the fermented vats & containers, drying rack & you may ask to see how they're made. Also a place to shop & buy goodies to be brought home. 3rd place would be Galeri Tunku Anis overlooking the Sg Golok bordering Thai's Tak Bhai. Grab a photo at the border stone or climb the watchtower to get a bird's ye view of the surrounding. As the gallery itself, left dilapidated & in ruins. No further...

Geting Beach is a quiet and laid-back spot, good if you’re looking for some peace away from the busier Pantai Cahaya Bulan or Pantai Irama. The beach is long and breezy, great for a stroll, flying kites, or just sitting by the waves. That said, it’s more of a local hangout than a tourist beach. Facilities are limited, and the water isn’t ideal for swimming. You’ll find some small food stalls around, but not much else in terms of attractions. Overall, a simple, no-frills beach — not spectacular, but pleasant if you’re nearby and want to enjoy the sea breeze in a quiet setting.
