New place for me. Thanks to "AM Umpan Port Klang" who gave me the location. The fishing port is right under the bridge. You can choose to pay RM2 to climb & access the "tiang" frm 1st until 7th tiang or you can pay rm5 to fish at 1st tiang without climbing.
To access the tiang, need to climb a steep ladder onto a wooden plank walkway right underneath the bridge. First time for me, it was quite scary - all the loud & heavy sound of trucks & lorries right on top of you & the deep waters under you. Thankfully, the wood planks are sturdy & quite solid. Unless you purposely step onto the sides, there is no way of falling. Fits a 6.5ft tall person nicely. Any taller, u got to bow.
Have to go through "intersections" that are smaller than the walkway & need to squad to get thru. You can climb down to each of the tiang via the steep ladder already put in place. If u go alone, best to bring the bare minimum so that itz easier to go up & down. Am thankful I met someone who was also there the 1st time & alone & we went together & helped carry each other's fishing gears.
Caught only gelama & buntal. They have the normal gelama & also gelama pisang. Saw other anglers caught bigger gelama & also senangin emas.
Very interesting experience. Good place to fish especially on a rainy day as there is shade but very very noisy because of the passing traffic above....

Better to use bait such as crayfish, shrimp or squid for this port. It's secluded from the sun so it will not be hot, quiet breezy but sometimes unpleasant...
