I read somewhere that it was a ‘giving to society’ project so I went. I was wrong. Let me start with everything is very expensive.

ANOTHER BIGGEST BLUNDER IS THERE IS NO BABY ROOM DESPITE IT IS A FAMILY PARK.

Location: Easy, right next to Pasar Borong Selayang.

Ticket Price : I went on Sunday 5pm which is the most expensive time one can enter. If one enters between 9am – 4pm on a weekday, it cost only RM40 for adults and RM20 for kids. But if you were to enter after 5pm, it will cost you RM55 for adults and RM30 for kids.

Stroller: Available for rent at RM30.

Attractions: I must say they have the most animals for a non-official ZOO and compared to other private “Zoo in the City”. The animatronics dinosaur only just a handful located near the entrance, others are mainly static displays with some fancy lighting. You will see many pandas and Kungfu pandas all over. There is a section where you will find zodiac animals on display too.

Night attractions: Musical water fountain. At sharp 7.45pm, a musical water fountain show started. A total of six songs. The water fountain is not huge, with 5 sets of rings in the middle of the lake with very limited style and lighting show. At least compared to other countries, this is nothing exciting. A bit disappointed though. They also have a section filled with lighting which they called is 99 Zoo Lights. But very hot due to the heat generated by the lights in a covered area.

Animals: If you go clockwise from gate 1, you will first see crocodiles, followed by ostrich, some other big birds, iguanas, a few snakes, monkeys, mongoose, a huge tortoise, fishes, and many others. They also have Tapirs. One or two ostriches is allowed to be outside to be fed by visitors. Few deer as well also allowed to be outside to be fed by visitors.

Near Gate 2, there is a station where you can take photos of small snakes and huge iguanas. There is a section near the restaurant where many parrots is available for you to feed.

IMPORTANT: THE ONLY ISSUE is the ostrich handler did not pay attention to the ostrich. The ostrich ran around and knocked down a child right in front of me. Should have paid more attention and ostrich vs children, not a good combo.

Environment: VERY HOT! More than 50% of the walking path has no cover. So not advisable to go early.

Food / Restaurant: One of the most expensive I’ve seen. RM6 for a can of coke. This is nowhere near the ‘Giving back to society’ price. Anyway, we had our dinner there. (Sorry forgot to take a photo of our dinner). The environment of the restaurant is average but the service is excellent. This I must praise.

Parking: FREE opposite gate 1. Very small though.

Overall review: This is just another repeat of Mines. If you can remember, during the 90’s The Mines has a snow house, musical fountain and etc. This is exactly the same, maybe just a little more.

I give it a rating of 5 out of 10. Will I go back? Definitely no. Too expensive and not family-friendly especially for those who...

Quite nice weekend to visit here. Can see and feed night animals such as ostrich, duck, capybara, crocodile, hedgehog, deer and so on. You can buy the veggie there, got two place to sell the veggie, 1 at the ostrich entrance and 1 at the deer. 4box for RM10. There are few place for you to wash your hands too after you feed the animals so don't worry.

Starting to explore the park from the left side. You will reach the crocodile area first, then the otrsich where you can feed him, malk sure to cut into smaller pieces before feed them. Don't worry, it won't hurt when they eat the veggie from your hand.

Great show for the water fountain, there are plenty of seats for you to enjoy the fountain. Make sure to walk in the middle of the park as the water fountain start as the seats are in the middle of the park.

After that, there are merry go round for the kids, complementary when buying tickets on June 25.

Then there are some snacks stalls for you to fill up tummy and energy as walking quite a lots until there.

Boat paddling are quite an enjoy activities too but there are a long queue when we reach there, waiting for our turns. This also a complimentary when you buy the tickets. If you not into boat paddling then you can just take the boat ride but will have extra charges for it.

Forget to mention, the road is suitable for baby stroller, easy to access along the route so dont worry. Wear comfy shoe as you will be walking a lots in there. A full circle from left to right. At night very breeze, no hot sun alike in the afternoon.

You will passing by a heart bridge which I think very pretty. Can took a nice photo over there.

Done forget the pretty big ferris wheel, if you are bringing a child, can have a ride and see the whole park on it. Will have charges for it.

Photo area for the dinosaur as well. Kids love it. Until here it's time to go home. Can have a great night walking in here. Nice animals and great show of water fountain.

Opening hours start at 5pm to 11pm on weekdays and 12am...

I visited 99 Wonderland Park last weekend with my family. 5 of us, kid's age between 4 years old to 13 years old.

We were there just before the evening session open, at 5pm. The parking is so easy and ample space and what i like about it is that they have RELA to watch over the traffics. The queue for the purchasing the ticket is not that bad, multiple counters and fast process.

Long story short, we were there from 5pm until 10+pm. If you plan to play or ride the paddle boat / the lake boat, you can do it before night time because you still can see the ducks / swan during day time. At night time, the queue will be longer BUT we were lucky enough to watch the fountain light display while we were on the boat and it was great.

They have animals quite a number of animals and some of them will be roaming around in public area like the Ostrich and crane family. There is also a petting zoo (parents dont worry, hand wash basin is like almost every corner of the park, yes with soaps). A tapir family is not to be missed , close encounter with them which you cant get this from zoo.

I was a bit sceptical about enclosure animals but ALL the animals at 99 wonderland Park is well fed, they are healthy and fat lol, kudos to management.

Food wise, there is a seafood restaurant inside this park and the food is good and the portion is like, for small nasi goreng, u can easily share it with 2 people and the price is around RM20+. Food is good.

The only part that i am not quite happy is that during the animal show, I understand that the trainers want to show how aggressive the snakes can be BUT to certain extend, they are putting the animal under pressure and scaring the animal which this shouldnt happened.

Overall, this park is a place that people should visit. I simply leave out more fun things to do there, you should check it out...

what a garbage place. paid rm55 (mykad) and rm80 (non my kad), all we get is the entrance to this place. cruise, train, ferris wheel all need to be paid separately. we would be ok if the place is running well, but it seems to run half heartedly, a lot of basic things barely function, such as feeding foods of the animals sold separately but only take cash despite having a sign that says we only take digital payment. too hard to set up a tng qr code?? the crocodile feeding shows I could forgive that the crocodile doesn't want to come out of the water, but i would appreciate it more if they aren't starting the feeding 20 minutes late. such incompetence. 8pm waited until 820 for it to start. and after a lackluster feeding, we went to watch the supposed light and water musical water fountain show, but the show keep having technical issue that we get up and left after 20 minutes. its like the people who run the place doesnt have a clue whats happening. It's not all negative though. the staff handling the animals all seem enthusiastic and happy for people to learn more about the animals. especially the guy who feeds the sunbear and his little shows tricks, and the dude who let us have some sunflower seeds to feed the birds. every one who handle animals just seem happy and knowledgeable and excited to share. Also don't forget the super adorable fat raccoon in the petting place. he is always flipping up the grass mat to sleep, you can prt him and carry him and he will let you. he is the best part of this mostly good for nothing place.

I recently visited 99 Wonderland Park, a creation by JL99 Group. It's impressive how they transformed a retention pond into a 23-acre recreational space. However, my experience was a blend of admiration and disappointment. Positively, the park offers a unique opportunity to interact closely with animals, which was a delightful experience. The sense of freedom in taking photos without crowds was enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort to create such a space in KL. On the downside, I was dissatisfied with the hygiene and the recreational activities. The website promised a range of activities from 9 AM, but upon arrival at that time, we found none. The staff informed us that everything starts at 5 PM, contrary to the advertised schedule. This was frustrating, especially since we had planned our visit based on the information provided. Additionally, the fountain show's cancellation due to maintenance issues was a letdown. Furthermore, while interacting with animals was a highlight, I observed that the ostriches seemed unwell, raising concerns about diseases. This compelled us to avoid physical contact and just take photos from a distance. In conclusion, while I like the concept and the animal encounters at 99 Wonderland Park, improvements in activity scheduling, maintenance, and animal health are crucial. It's a place with great potential but needs attention to detail to ensure a satisfying visitor experience.👍
