If you have soft heart for animals, I recommend you to avoid it. My partner and I just got out of this place in disbelief and horrified. The cages were too small with only sand and dead trunks to act as their habitat? This place should be visited by the authorities and world wildlife organisations to check and teach about proper ways to deal with animals!! They are not toys, and they are not things!
The animals are kept in tiny cages, there is no proper ventilation and RACOONS (for example) were walking in the door area in panic not stoping once...that stage is leading to their health deteriorating!!! They were disoriented, anxious and seeking where to hide! The fennec foxes also out for everyone to see them but no place for them to hide and rest!!! Some birds as peacocks, parrots were in a bad shape, their wings and feathers in bad shape. It is too warm there, with no proper ventilation and sunlight, small place with few plants around. A small Meerkat was also running in its small cage, nowhere to hide and all alone! Poor poor animals! The eagles were in tiny cages, the crocodiles had two small ponds and there was a small monkey in a cage all by himself. When i asked why, they told me his partner died a year ago! They should be free :( Animals need to be respected, in their habitat, when they want to be seen they will do it...if not, they shouldn't be forced.
The name of this place is misleading! This is just a regular awful zoo, not a wildlife animal park. And the animals there face misery every day. I wish I knew before coming there.
The people working there were really nice, but also doing what they are told to do.
Please please change the business type, collaborate with world organizations for animal wellbeing, they can teach/show how to treat animals properly, and start to care for animals for who they...
Β Β Β Read moreBought my tickets for RM33+ per Malaysian adult through Klook because usually Klook sells a bit cheaper compared to walk in. However, after visit I got to know that walk in rate for Malaysian adult is at RM35 so if anyone wants to go can just walk in because not much difference.
This price just increased last year and so many people complained about it. No wonder not many visitor when I came eventhough it was during weekend and on top of that, it was during school holiday.
And then, to feed the animals you may buy food pack at RM9/pack. I would suggest for each person to buy 1 food pack for better experience instead of just sharing.
The food pack consists of fish pellet, nuts & sunflower seeds, cabbages, kangkung, apple, some corn.
At this place, they have about 3-4 proper spots to take pictures which they will later sell to you at the end of the visit. You can politely decline if you don't want to spend your money for the pictures.
The place is quite vast, I dont understand why people say it is limited but I guess everyone has their own opinion. Compared to Farm in the city in seri kembangan, I prefer this one more (both are petting zoo, priced at RM35-RM40 per adult)
These are the pros that I can list.
I also saw that this place will be having tiger soon? Cant wait if they will actually have tiger at such petting zoo/park!
At first I thought I would only get to feed like 2-3 animals only but actually, it was more than that. So do not finish off the food pack very soon π because they will be plenty of animals waiting at the end.
Overall, I would recommend this...
