Okay, let's be real. It is an old water park, some slides were under renovation or out of order is understandable. No issue there cuz majority of the ride is still operational. For safety purposes, certain weight and height requirements are needed for some of the ride. If you are not in the range, the guard will bar you from going on it. Which is still fine by me cuz it is a hazard and a liablity on everybody present.
To which I am confuse when and why did they added a splash maker to the lazy river. It is called a LAZY RIVER, for goodness sake. As a frail person, I wanted to enjoy some gentle water floating that wouldnt get me ashore like the wave pool.
Due to the splash maker producing waves to the gentle stream of the lazy river, it becomes a hot spot for squaters with the free to use tube to wait at that spot for the wave it produce after the splash in a 5 min intervals that is not actively present at the wave pool in the middle of the park.
First, the squaters are preventing other people who are not waiting for the splash an ease of passage to go through, especially when the number of patron increasing during the day. Second, if you are not part of the grouping that can stabilize your floaties, you would most likely to tumble over from the incoming waves, in which I did. Was knocked out by other ppl tube, during the confusion and trying not to drown, I even bang my head to the wall. Third, there was a guard there but they are most likely be there to prevent the patron from going up to the splash maker.
Urgh, all in all, I was only able to enjoy the kiddy pool, arabian village cuz that were the area my family decided to be our anchor spot since all the cabana was rented out.
Pool water cleanliness quality is mid for me. There were like sand, dead leaves and small twigs from the trees nearby in the water, which is still okay-ish for me. For ppl who are paranoid best avoid it. The park itself was clean enough and if you can, invest in a good water shoe. They are great to prevent slipping and traveling from 1 spot to another rather than barefoot since the floor would be pretty hot after a while under the sun or stepping on an unnoticed small pebbles.
Food and beverages are available but if you are picky and unimpressed by constricting nature of a water park pricing, I suggest you look elsewhere after you exited the park.
The changing facility and toilet are decent. Was able to do my business and change out of the wet clothes comfortably. Again, you are at a water park, expect water to be everywhere. No dryness what so ever.
Parking situation, I feel it is best to park on the outside provided parking space, since they provide shuttle from the parking area to the entrance of the water park. There is also availabilty to park nearer to the entrance, with the fee of RM3.50, which is limited. First come, first serve situation.
And yes, Im just irked about the lazy river. Pls ignore the redundancy about the splash maker, I am that level of "sakit hati" about it. It is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought a room package with the Water Park entry tickets included. Bought fron their official website 2 weeks prior. Just got confirmation email after purchasing.
Arrived at the Waterpark and tried to enter by showing the receipt to the ticket counter. However, they told me to call the number in the receipt, which is their customer support number and ask for the ticket QR.
Had to wait around 40-50 minutes afterwards to get the QR and finally was able to get in the Waterpark. Not sure why the QR wasn't send immediately in the email together with the receipt.
The Waterpark is a bit lame for adults. All pools are limited to 3 ft (90 cm) instead of the standard 4 ft (120 cm) so it is very shallow. Better for families with kids for sure, but literally no pools are deeper than 3 ft. Even the wave pool is closed after 3 ft mark.
The kids pool area is only 1 ft deep, but then the water bucket is dangerously very strong. Saw a big guy weighing probably around 300 pounds got slammed by the water and almost fell. It was fun for adults for sure but very dangerous for kids considering it is located in the kids pool area.
Slides are meh, only one slide (I think it's called the ice cream or tornado thingy) is actually fun and you need to be on 4 person group to ride it. The tube for four also needed to be carried from the bottom probably up 4 stories high from the moment you take it and it is very heavy. Weight limit is 35-90 kg per person.
The other slides are not that enjoyable and quite lame. Two slides don't require tube but didn't test it out. Needed to go down the hill and climb back the tower of 4 stories high. Seemed dangerous and painful without the tube too.
Spent the most time in the lazy river which is quite lame because the wave only comes every 3 minutes so it is very slow if you decide to be lazy and not move the tube at all. The wave start section is somewhat crazy. People are gathering around the area and blocking it do passing through is tricky. If you decide to stay in the crowd, beware that it can get very dangerous with all...
