It's quite a distance from the highway to reach at there by car (10km±). There is a slope next to the road, and we need to go down the slope slowly. Then park on the roadside and walk in.
This is a quiet place in nature. When we arrived, there were not many people there.
The hot spring pool is very small, but the temperature is very high. Elderly people may need help to go in to the pool. Because of my mom had implanted in her spine, she was unable to bend down, so she needed special help from me.
The nearby residents are very enthusiastic, and they will also thoughtfully remind first-time visitors not to soak in the hot spring water for too long, can come out from hot water and rest for a while, and then back to the hot spring pool again.
According to them, they have the opportunity to come here soak in hot springs every day, their bodies become healthier and healthier.
It costs RM5 (per person) every time you come here. You can also choose to pay monthly fee if you come here frequently. The pool and water are very clean. There are also people responsible for cleaning here everyday.
The people coming here wearing shorts and t-shirts. People who come here often and are used to the temperature of the hot spring water soak their whole bodies in the water.
No toilets here. Just a clothes changing room at here.
Since it was our first time here, we only stayed for less than one hour before leaving. My mom soaked in the hot springs twice, and sat on a stool to rest when she come out from the pool. Her sleep quality was very good...
Read moreWe went back to the hot spring after more than year and the place has changed a lot. I used to like it a lot because it was open air and not too built up. People from different races use the place together and we chat together. The place was maintained by the community for the community. The hot spring here is well known and people come from all over Malaysia. Today, i saw that one of the two areas has been fenced up and locked. The other place used to be a natural pool with boulders. Now it is concreted and a roof built over it, making it feel dark and cramp. Rubbish was all over. A lady came and told me its rm5 per entry, and when i said that it used to be free she said "look at what it was and what it is now!" I definitely thought it was more beautiful before the concrete... we left disappointed and sad that a communal place has changed so much and lost its soul...
