My favourite place to train....kids friendly too...its a very popular place during the weekend so I suggest you go early or a bit later if its during weekends. Better if you can go during weekdays. No permit is required but you still need to register and pay RM5/pax before going up. Been here a few times already. You can either start from Bukit Putus (BP) or Ulu Bendul (UB). If you're doing trans then it's better to have 2 cars.1 parked at Ulu Bendul and Another at Bukit Putus...it saves you at least 7km worth of run to your car later hahaha. Read moreThe trailhead had a tree that fell across the path. The other trailhead is muddy, smelly and there was no rope whatsoever. Many hikers slipped and fell. It was terrible. The rest of the trail was fine until after the Bukit Putus. It was also soggy and sticky. You can feel your shoes sticking to the ground. There isn't much view points and at the peak there isn't much of a view except for the triangular station. A place for training ok la. If your are looking for views I would suggest other Mount. Read moreThe trailhead from Bukit Putus is located on the old road to Ulu Bendul which provides ample parking spaces but since it's a popular hiking location, some weekends may need you to park a bit further. On weekends, a stall selling some hiking equipments allow you to catch missing or left item. At the beginning of the hike from Bukit Putus, the stairs and the trail are relatively steep then it gets less sterenous with occasional steep climb.
