Deerland Park was a lovely and peaceful stop during our countryside tour with Skyline Holidays. Our guide Rudran brought us here and made the entire experience extra special. The park is surrounded by greenery and has a calm, quiet atmosphere that was perfect for our young children.
The highlight was feeding the deer. My older daughter was a bit nervous at first but Rudran gently stayed by her side and helped her feel safe. He showed her how to hold the food and guided her with so much patience. By the end of the visit she was smiling and comfortable around the animals. It was a proud moment for all of us.
A kind lady from the park, with her baby beside her, took the time to show us around. She pointed out the smaller animals and gently introduced us to the snakes. Her warmth and kindness made the visit feel even more personal and welcoming.
The park also had rabbits and birds and the entire space felt more like a quiet family farm than a tourist stop. The shaded paths and peaceful setting gave us a chance to slow down and enjoy being close to nature.
We are so thankful to Skyline Holidays for including this stop and for giving us Rudran as our guide. He truly connected with our children and helped create memories we will always cherish. Deerland Park is a wonderful place for families who want a calm and meaningful experience with animals in a...
Read morePls present your ID for Malaysian rate (rm7 & rm4 adult & kids respectively kalau x silap) Knowing that this place is privately run, and suffered from a massive flood years ago. I gave this place a perfect score for the dedication. Okay. Lets talk about this place. It is a so called a guided tour. Theres a trail from the entrance until the exit gate. So u won't miss any animals. Quite decent exhibits. The herd of deer is starving n "begging" for food. U will be given the food n feed them. Nice opportunity to touch the wild deer. Reptile area (covered, in an open air building) has benches to sit on and to catch a breath. Retic python & iguana were there if u dare to lift them for a photo. Great addition if ur from elephant sanctuary. Things i wish can be improved: The path is quite slippery. Hope the mgt can give more info on the exhibit. Millions of us love cats. Pls make the cage more visitor friendly. We don't want to touch them (they are wild anyway) but we want a closer look at the beautiful creature. Pls give the visitor more information on the animal. Pls. Not just the "prairie dog". Make it more informative & interactive. The younger generation who are eager to learn the world will read it. Overall i enjoy the visit. Its worth it. Abt the pic, pardon my princess, shes not feeling well but she had her...
Read moredecided to go here after visiting the conservation centre for elephants. for the entrance fee, it's quite decent for what we're given. the place itself is like a small forest with lots of greenery around which can be quite the experience. people who have fear of bugs be warned though! quite a lot of bugs are flying around and i managed to leave the place with a worm stuck to my pants 🥲
🌱 the path inside the place is really old and cracks are everywhere, please be careful if you have trouble walking. 🌱 i like the fact that there are quite a few sinks to wash my hands and soap is provided! 🌱 i think some of the cages where the animals stay are rusty and dirty, a shame that they're not kept clean. 🌱 the rabbits have a lot of space to actually run around but i noticed one rabbit has matted furs, please do give enough care for them!! 🌱 have more chickens than anything else. 🌱 information papers/plates by the animals are very old and not maintained. some cages don't even have information on them.
overall, a lot of improvements can be done! really need to maintain the place and animals well, but it's good to...
