Please do not stay here if your not wild life geared prepared. We had checked in over the weekend and literally checked out the night it self, NOT WORTH FOR A RM200 per night stay
1st INCIDENT occurred at 5pm plus after lepak sg nak balik chalet mandi and wash up to head out for dinner , travel with my 7 years old daughter and 11 months old baby while my husband is away for team building nearby. Masa after my daughter da mandi i was about to pick up my cloth and wash up and i saw a RED AND BLACK Snake in the room !!!! Called the office land line numerous time 0199483100 but no respond text them everything no respond, end up we ran out the room and walk towards the office to notify them on the snake insiden, few man (restoran staff / 1 chalet staff) came and capture the snake yang berbisa !* Imagine if i was bathing and the snake came up to my baby/ my 7 year old girl * !!!!
Disclaimer ; The chalet staff/ office manager or whatever they call themself didn't even bother to change our room or give us any assurance or apologies or explaination or whatsoever.
THE SECOND INCIDENT OCCURED after we came back from our dinner 8pm plus it was raining heavily and pouring and flooding the walk path to the room cannot be access by foot as the water is high and therefore we took an alternative longer route from the back to the chalet and end up when we entered there was no electricity it was blackout only at our chalet, again i called the staff text the staff number but no respond again , imagine if there was a fire or any other incident you will be left there to die.
We decided to move out that night it self as there was no respond from the property and i have a baby where i cant proceed to stay there without any electricity.
The day after that Sunday i was at least expecting a explaination or apologies or call back from the chalet , but there was none...till today Monday (14/10) I've decided to text them to query and this is they're AI CHAT RESPONSE !
SUPER DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM! I DO NOT RECOMMEND...
Read moreStayed here during the school holiday weekends on September. We stayed at the rooms right beside the river.
Location wise it's the best. It's right beside the Rumah Makan Riverside near the road, close to the town, lots of food stalls selling street snacks & durian.
The room conditions: there's quite a lot of huge lizards especially at night. The wall is not cemented & hv the rusty unfinished vibes with the stones, so there's small holes on the wall.
The toilet is outside of the room, but that's not the issue. The issue is the smell due to the holes through the walls. Whenever somebody poo in the toilet, those who are inside the room can actually smell those 💩 coz the bathroom outside is directly attached to the in front of the bedroom. It was horrible.
However, all the facilities are complete regardless. But it's such a hassle to keep on paying & booking for literally all the facilities available there. The field, the gazebo, everything need to be booked & paid. You can't use any of it freely.
The river is amazing, calming sounds & view especially in the morning. Floats can be rent for RM10 each (RM10 as depo upfront but it will be returned if the float is fine towards the end).
A good stay. Will...
Read moreWe planned to rent 2 double-storey huts by the river for Aidil Adha holiday. Riverside does not accept advance booking for the huts, so we drove at 7am from KL so that we would arrived around 8am, the time Riverside office is opened. We immediately booked the huts that we wanted.
The ground floor of the hut is tiled open space that is facing the river. Great for eating with the family. BBQ pit is available but have to bring your own charcoal and grill pan.
The top floor of the hut is more unique with bamboo -weaved wall and windows and a balcony facing the river. There is a fan, a light, 2 single mattresses and 2 pillows.
The rent per hut is RM70 + RM50 deposit. We can stay until 6pm. There is an option to stay overnight until 2.30 pm the next day, just add RM20 to the rent.
The common toilets and surau are on the other side of the road.
There is a Malay restaurant which is closed due to hari raya. There is also a small shop selling snacks, mats and toys besides the Registration office. You can also rent tubes from the...
