👍 Highlights

Scenic coastal setting: Framed by jungle‑topped headlands and swaying coconut palms, the gently curving bay offers soft sand, sparkling blue waters, and plenty of shade—excellent for sunsets and photo opportunities .

Family‑friendly & activity‑packed: Ideal for picnickers, campers, and families. Accessible facilities include toilets, showers, gazebos, beach chairs, and lifeguard towers. Popular activities include banana boats, jet skis, canoeing, cycling, kite flying, and even a seashell museum .

Affordable & convenient: Low entrance/parking fees (~RM3–10). Campsite stays with power cost around RM50–70 per night. Food stalls nearby serve grilled fish, nasi lemak, satay, coconut drinks—plus souvenirs galore .

👎 Areas for improvement

Crowded on weekends & holidays: Visitors report heavy crowds on public holidays, with noise levels spiking and even displacing the resident monkeys .

Trash & upkeep issues: Though generally well-maintained, certain areas suffer from litter, monkeys searching for food, and some shabby wooden structures .

Mixed infrastructure quality: Some public amenities (like chalets or hard‑landscaped zones) may feel overbuilt or neglected, lacking charm and...

Teluk Batik Beach always comes to my mind when I piece together memories of a day enjoying the sun and sea on a beach with family and friends. It was 34 years ago when I was posted to Lumut. On many sun bathed weekends my family and I would wile away the time on the beach which would be full of like minded picnickers and holiday makers.

The beach is only about 4 km from Sitiawan town and about 1 km from the TLDM Base. Situated in Lumut town, it provides access to the beach to the mainlanders.

The usual festival like atmosphere would unfold especially on weekends.

The beach is well provided with lifeguard watch towers, shower facilities, toilets as well a whole array of gift shops and eating stalls.

In the vicinity of the beach area are some accomodations for rent.

The beach is relatively clean and well taken care of. The presence of some monkeys cajoling the visitors for food handouts make for a complete and...

Haven't been here for ages. The whole place has been upgraded and very well designed. There is a huge beautiful landscaped public park at the front part of the beach. Paved walkway good for brisk walking or jogging and an area with a few rides for kids. Found some nice flowering trees in between. The parking nearer to the beach is RM3 per car now. Used to be free for all. Different rates for different vehicles. Most shops were like abandoned. There were some nicely built traditional kampong houses for homestay, some interesting structures like a colorful light house etc for photographing. The beach looks okay but not the sea though. Heard many complaints about the polluted oily sea water from the nearby construction being not suitable for swimming. I wouldn't like to try. On certain months, you can see nice sunset and not blocked...

Summer Breeze to be enjoy with your love one or family. Great place for those wanted to have sea sand sun. Beautiful landscape and sculpture for your instagramable photos. Easy place for local food. Complete complaxes with clean public toilets, prayer room for Muslim. Parking space at own preferred area.... Provided its available and need to pay RM 5 per entry. The best about the entrance was... They separated every vehicles from motorbike to cars at different parking area. Clean beach area. Where everyone responsible to manage their own garbage. Water sports activities to be enjoy especially during afternoon. Could be many visitors during public holidays and weekends. Beware of monkeys... Do not feed them as they will hunting you till the end.
