Timah Tasoh Dam JPS Perlis is the northernmost man-made reservoir in Perlis, about 17 kilometers away from the capital city of Kangar.
It was built in 1987, covers an area of 1,300 hectares, and can hold about 35.3 million liters of water at a time. It serves various purposes such as improving the irrigation system of rice fields, providing water to the people of the state, and serving as a water catchment area to prevent floods. Its name comes from the two rivers that flow into the lake - Sungai Timah and Sungai Tasoh.
