Wang Kelian View Point is truly one of the must-visit attractions when you come to Perlis. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking — you can see the majestic Bukit Chabang standing tall in the distance and a stunning landscape of Perlis below. The best time to visit is early in the morning when you can catch the magical “carpet of clouds” that covers the hills, making it look like something straight out of a dream.
I visited in the afternoon, just after the rain, and the weather was still pleasantly cool with misty fog drifting around — it gave the place such a calm and refreshing vibe. Usually, the afternoon can be quite hot, so I was lucky with the timing. The entrance fee is very affordable at RM2 for adults, and there’s free parking available nearby. If you need the toilet, it costs just RM0.50 per person.
You can choose to take a buggy ride for RM3 per person from the car park to the viewpoint, or enjoy a nice walk up if you prefer a bit of exercise. At the top, there are small food stalls selling local snacks and drinks — perfect for a quick bite while enjoying the scenery. On the opposite side of the road, you can see a new development area under construction, expected to include a café and other facilities soon, which will make future visits even better.
This place is perfect for photography lovers, nature enthusiasts, or anyone wanting a peaceful escape surrounded by scenic beauty. The panoramic view of the Perlis countryside is worth every moment spent here. A beautiful, serene spot that perfectly captures the...
Read moreThe view point is ok and has even a new and clean toilet. However, we had there one of the worst experience with a local manager. We went to check out the place in the afternoon and paid RM 2 each. The employee told us that there was not issue at all bring our dogs. The next morning, we came back for the sunrise. The office was not opened yet. We had a glimpse at the sunrise and suddenly, a person came with a buggy with two employee. I believe that he was some kind of "manager". He started to be very rude saying :"Leave now! Go!". No animal here. "Go". Ironically there were a few monkeys around. There are no sign mentioning that dogs are not allowed. I did not want to argue with him, especially considering his miserable attitude. The other two person looked quite embarrassed as well as the Malay visitor who was there at the time with us. Our dogs are very well behave (better then some humans) and were on leach. I will never understand this and could not stand the disrespectful behaviour of this man. A very poor image of "Welcome to Perlis!". A place where we will surely not...
