We had such a beautiful experience at the Marine Park! Right under the dock we saw huge schools of fish swimming all together—such an incredible sight! And we could swim among them!! There were also various corals, a nursery of baby corals, and many other kinds of fish. The highlight was spotting a shark (not too close, not so big, so no worries!). We found it super useful to have life jackets, which allowed us to swim for almost two hours without worrying about getting tired. A good mask is essential to enjoy all the details underwater, and we also recommend wearing a UV/UVB protection shirt to avoid sunburn. Absolutely worth the visit—stunning marine life and an unforgettable snorkeling experience!

Clean beach and clear water. Safe for kids to swim in the beach. Only 30 minutes from merang jetty by speed boat. Not much to see while snorkeling, hardly find colorful coral and only black grey fishes. Bring Your Own food because only one shop sells chips, instant noodles, and soft drinks. We took 1 day tour, and this marine park was the first spot. Next is Redang lagoon which is much more better than marine park beach.

Was snookling in this marine park nearby to Pulau Redang about 10 years ago. The largest difference will be the corals which are all dead now. There used to be beautiful, colourful corals in the shalllow seabed, now only their white skeletons are left. The many colourful and pretty fishes are still there. Which we were very happy to see.
