Renggis Island — Attraction in undefined

Went snorkelling and diving here, both were great experiences. I saw several decent sized reef sharks, couple of turtles and a puffer fish (as well as plenty of other fish!). There was a strong current around the island. I managed to snorkel round it as I had fins but the other snorkellers who didn't have fins weren't able to get all round it due to the strong current. Is a great little island surrounded by corals. Sad part is most are bleached, but there are still majy fishes to be seen. Be ready to encounter black tip sharks (2-3 ft or so) swimming around while snorkeling. We catched a second turtle "gracing" too. Honestly there's not much coral left. There are still a lot of coral fish but all the corals are dead. Saw some black tip sharks. Can actually swim from the Berjaya beach but it takes quite long although the distance is not far, because of the swell and the current. Best to take the boat or if swimming, must use a float to be able to rest...
