My first time here post pandemic. Been here before, and it is still as beautiful as I can remember. They improved the trail (cemented) so it's easier to hike up with camping gears. There are toilets at the main entrance (and I think there is one more, somewhat hidden). For 2 person we were charged RM38 for 1 night camping (including RM10 for bringing own cooking stove - which I found weird..but well....) Accordingly, you have to book 3 days prior to coming if you're camping. You will be provided with a walkie talkie too. There's a coffee and coconut water stall the top, but it closes at sundown (6.30pm). Sunset here is breathtaking. Weekend (Saturday evenings) has the most number of visitors. If you're camping, you can only set up your tent after sunset, this is so that people can take pictures there, and that your tents won't block others of their view. We were super lucky to be blessed with clear sky and a late moon rise, so we get to take pictures of the milkyway (squeals in delight). In the morning, it gets hot by 7am, don't forget to return your walkie talkie as you leave. By the way there's free parking about 20m after the entrance.
Will I come back? That'll be a...
Read moreIf you are looking for a place to chill out, this place is for you. The best time to come is around 4.30-6.30 pm as you could catch the gorgeous sunset. If you are a morning person, come around 6-7 am. The morning breeze would help you to start your day well. If you come around 9.30 am - 3 pm, please bring your shades and umbrella as the weather could be so hot. Anyway, you could take even more beautiful pics under the bright sun.
Hiking is an option here. There are three trails that you could take. The magic trail a.k.a shortcut is the fastest way to get on top, it only takes 3 minutes. The other two trails are medium and hard level which suitable for hikers.
Camping is available but you need to book at least 3 days earlier. Also, fresh coconuts and fancy drinks like mojito and mocktails are sold here. NO alcohol served. If you wanna try the drinks, check...

Good for warming up session by the way since it only require like 2-5 minutes to reach the peak. If you're lazy enough, you can also park nearby the registration booth, where you need to drive like 500 metre until you see an under construction building. Best to hike at 4pm. As its gonna took a lot of time for taking pictures as well as...
