Welcome to Kampung Gombizau â aka the bee-hive of rural tourism buzz, where you willingly walk into a forest full of bees for fun. No , really. This little honey village in Kudat is home to stingless bees and big-hearted locals whoâve turned traditional honey harvesting into an unexpectedly wholesome tourism gig.
Youâll be handed a little plastic tasting spoon and ushered to tiny wooden hives like youâre at a bee-version of a wine tasting. âAh yes , this vintage has hints of jungle flower and mild panic.â Spoiler: stingless bees are adorable and not out to murder you.
The honey? Tangy , earthy , medicinal , and apparently a miracle cure for everything except traffic in KK. Some say it boosts immunity , others just enjoy pretending to be jungle sommeliers.

âą You have the chance to interact with regular bees (once they are a bit "high" because of the smoke that it's used) and sting-less bees.
âą You can taste some sting-less honey bee directly from the source, which is really nice to experience as you know the product is 100% natural, and the taste is as original as it can be.
âą They have a small shop where they sell 3 different types of honey and in different quantities, so you can buy it cheaper directly from the producer.
âą The entrance fee is 6 RM for foreigners, adults, and 4 RM for locals, adults.
âą Open daily, 9am - 5pm.
