The Kabili trail from RDC. A great adventure! It was easy to pursue a permit for the trek and of I go by myself, without any planning. Didn't meet anyone on whole walk and it was "real". Kind of partly rough but so beautiful! For while there could be this tense jungle and suddenly there's a bright path. Many nice views!
But in the end I realize that I should arrange some kind of pickup, for the trail ended at the building where you where supposed to show the permit, but nobody was the building was closed. But not locked from the trail side so I went in and made a lot of noise. On the other side I finally met a guy. Not sure what he was doing there and didn't speak english. He was surprised to see me and as I understood there was no way to get back to civilization by yourself. But he was friendly and and drove me to nearest fish village on his boat where also nobody spoke english but manage in the end pay someone to drive me back. It was a 30 min drive. So it went well, but I might just been lucky.

For seasoned hikers, maybe it would take around 3 to 5h to complete the trail. But for the beginners it may be longer than that.
At the end of the trail you will find mangrove conservation...
