Mahua Waterfall - Situated at Kampung Mahua in Tambunan, Sabah The State Below The Wind, Malaysia. One of the must visit place in Sabah and famous waterfall among locals. It's a beautiful stunning waterfall with a height of 17 meters with cold and clean fresh water stream. Mahua Waterfall has a short scenic walk/hike about 500 meters/10-15 minutes from the parking space. You need to pay RM 3/pax to enter... Thereabouts a calmness atmosphere and the stunning view in the forest area with huts/gazebos. The facilities like toilet, changing room, surau, the restaurant, lodge, homestay and camping site are available by the stream near the parking area. You can stay the night or camping here as well... 🏪 🏕️🔥 If you're lucky enough many things you can see, the waterfall ambience, huge trees, wild orchids include the world's largest flower 'the bloom of rafflesia'.💮 Worth a look, appreciate the mother nature... 🏞️...

The waterfall is cold and beautiful when it just rained. It costs rm6 per entry for Malaysians and an additional 10 of you wish to camp beside its office outside. There are huts just beside the waterfall, but it isn't a lot. Some part of the facilities inside are blocked off. It's also a very short walk from the parking to the waterfall. On the camping side, you can rent the common hut beside the office for cooking and also with seats and tables provided. It costs rm30 to rent it. The toilets are fine, but there aren't proper showers provided. One thing to note, there is no phone signal in the area.
