There is honestly not a lot to see or do here. There’s a nice river, and a couple hundred yards of walking path along the river, but that is really the highlight. Really the highlight is guided trips out of here up to Mount Kinabalu. I was surprised by the men’s restroom. It is huge, super clean, and there are living plants decorating the room. It may be the nicest toilet I’ve ever been in. At least you don’t have to worry about public toilets up here. I walked through the park a little bit, then I walked back down the road through the town. All in all it was a nice visit. There is at least one suspension bridge in the park. There was some local boys swimming in the river for a while. There was some local girls hanging out also in one of the covered...

I enjoyed the peaceful lush surroundings during my stay at Serinsim Substation but struggled with the poor network which made communication difficult. The hike to Mt. Nambuyukong was incredibly challenging, making it my first and last hike here due to its difficultly. I regretted not training enough beforehand but it was an unforgettable experience that offered a deep sense of accomplishment.

Suggestion on improvements; the hike would have benefited from more signs along the path to guide hikers. Additionally, the presence of experienced/knowlegeable guides could provide essential insights and assistance on the...

Truly a haven for nature lovers. The river is this stations, piece to resistance. If you want a retreat from the outside world, this is the place to be. Like or not, as of writing this review, there's no cellular reception here. You get to truly immerse yourself in the moment with the company you bring. The changing facilities are adequate and there are several roofed structures beside the river where you can plonk down and have a barbeque. Bring your own briquettes. Have a blast, please behave like civilized people throw trash is the provided bins....

Sub Station Serinsim is a part of Kinabalu Park. Road to the park is tared and in good condition, 30 mins form Kota Marudu town. Go here for the cool river water, climb mt. Nambuyukon, visit the deer compound, waterfall and bat cave. Accomodations are available inside the park, challets and camp grounds, accomodations outside the park is also available. Not many visitors only 32k visitor in 2018.

Great place for healing. Cold water, clear and fresh. Got lots of fish but cannot catch them, if not will be fined up to 20k. Have ample space for camping. Also got few resort units. Clean toilets. The only drawback was no cellphone line/internet there, but nevermind you go there for healing right? Just enjoy the nature!
