Shabandar Beach — Attraction in Sabah

A very beautiful and "active" beach. People would gather here together on weekends to enjoy the windy breeze. Other than that, there is also quite a number of stall which offer foods, drinks and snack. For more enjoying "beaching" expereince, some of the stall also serve fresh coconut drink! The beach is also located very colse to the Sabandar Leisure Ride, which is only about 3 minutes away. Public toilet and shower are also availabe, and for muslim who want to perform their prayers, worries no more because there is a mosque half way between Sabandar Leisure Ride...

Shabandar Beach is a decent spot to unwind, especially if you're looking for a wide, open stretch of sand. The beach area is quite spacious, and you’ll find a few stalls nearby selling snacks and drinks. There were some driftwoods along the shore, which added a bit of a rustic feel—but unfortunately, so did the trash. It’s a nice place with potential, but the litter around the beach really took away from the overall experience. Another nice and beautiful long beach to experience sunset in borneo! Got local restaurant to chil & relax while waiting the sun to set ❤️ it was soooo soooo Amazing! Guys sometimes the view might slightly different from one with another day of coming which means you will get to see different of sunset view & vibe experience. Good place to surf, ATV,and ride a horse too! The entrance is free for muslim surau is provided. Parking is a bit limited so makesure to come and arranged your time wisely...
