I went on my own on a Friday afternoon cause I was just in the area, have a change of clothes with me and I was bored lol. I went in the middle of October, so it's the start of the rainy season. Entrance fee was RM5 when I went. 2 older ladies greeted me and were super friendly and helpful. I mainly went to check out the place for potential future trips, and they showed me the place and explained anything I wanted to know. There are separate charges to use the different facilities available, but other than the entrance fee they don't charge by person, so for a group of people I'd say the prices are super affordable. I was told that their Facebook page have their contact info. The river have been sectioned into different deepness, so you can swim around or just sit in the current. I went during the start of the rainy season so the water was a bit fast, but I like it that way so it's nice. Place is a bit run down, but everything was squeaky clean and the rooms when I went to peak into ( the lady open for me to look) smells like...clean hotel rooms? Not to say floral or anything, smells like clean linen. Place was damp outside cause rainy season, but the rooms doesn't smell damp at all. There's tables, huts and small bbq pits available for rent, bathroom is open for use. I saw rubber tires to float on and snacks for sale, didn't ask the price on those. The drive is a bit rough, and I saw 4 separate landslides. I had to shift to the lowest gear at one part cause of the steepness of the road. It's not that bad though, me and my tiny car made it through without any trouble. Some of the pools was dry, and the hanging bridge is missing the roof, not sure if there should be a roof there or not though. I maintain the 5 star rating for the affordable price, friendly customer service and general cleanliness. Coming as a group will help get your money's worth, but be warned that weekends...
Read moreOverall it is pretty good, the road to go there is a bit steep but it is ok compare to Pogunjo. The entry fee is RM 5/person. There is no internet connection but they offer wifi connection for RM11/ 1gb/30 days. There are homestays/rooms that you can rent and there is a shop there that sell food and drinks, you can rent hut, the one that I saw was RM 20 for a hut, there are different sizes/kinds of hut. The water is pretty good, there are pools with different depths such as 0.5m/0.2m/2m. When we went home, the youngsters let out the water from the pools into the river and they started to clean the pools. There are toilets in this place and it is clean. There are dogs in this place, they are friendly but if you don't want to be touch by them, there are some hut that have fences, will protect you against them, they will not come near you unless you are the one that call them, prettt chill dawg.
The roof on the bridge is nearly gone, it is not as beautiful as it was in other Google map's review.
Overall, it is a pretty good experience, we did not need to book, we just went there using grab, but it is a bit hard go home using grab from Sinilou, so it is recommended to go there using your own car. In our case, we went there using grab and went home using our...
Read more19 March 2021..(updating my list😅) I've visited this place on 2019 and we all have Blasted Good Time that day!! It was my family 1st visit before the Covid-19 pandemic. We were looking for a safe place for gathering and swimming (and for the Badak Berendam only).
About this place, its genuine river and then they made a slight additional route like bypass the river to their man-made river pool which is so brilliant and super-comfortable save.
They also have plenty cute traditional gazebo for private bbq (oh the pit are available but you can bring your own).. The price offered are reasonable and affordable.
Ohh.. you can rent the TUBE 🤫😻😻
My family and I, are definitely coming back...
