Taman Awam Bandukan — Attraction in Sabah

People who love nature is recommended to come here for recreaction to enjoy the greens and the river. The river is so clean and cold. If you decide to get into the river, please advise and swim at your own risk because there is no life guard. There is part of the river is deep where people can enjoy floaty tube (which you can rent from small shop nearby) and there is also shallow river bank suitable for toadlers. Toilet and changing room is provided.

The park provided a place for group picnic and usually families or bunch of friends doing BBQ especially during weekends. That is why the area always smell smoky grilled BBQ which can trigger hungriness, no sweat because there is few booth around that sell food although the menu is quite limited I must say.

There is hanging bridge over the river, parking lot and it can be crowded at the weekend. Better go early to book...

I really enjoyed my visit to Bandukan Recreational Park. The place was awesome, with a clear and fresh river that was not too deep. There were plenty of stalls nearby to fill my stomach, and I tried some delicious local dishes. The place was very open and breezy, and it was a good place to go and relax. My favorite part was that some stalls offered a service where they let me rent tire tubes of various sizes to be used as swim rings and enjoy a relaxing swim in the river. It was so fun and soothing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves nature...

Free entrance. A great place for family. Bbq allowed but have to clean up yourself when you are done (it’s free right?!) But NOOOO TOILET available for clean up.
