I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately I have to say I was disappointed, just like the Lok Kawi zoo, first of all foreigners pay more than locals, RM35 vs RM18. This place is completely run down and desperately needs funding, the whole place is run down and not kept up at all, all the enclosures where worn down and dirty and the water was dirty or full of algae, ok I know, it’s alligators and they naturally live in rivers/ocean but at least there they always have “fresh” water, here in the other hand there wasn’t even enough water in many of the enclosures to cover the alligators and they all did their best to try to crawl in to a corner to try to get some shade from the hot sun. There was a few enclosure with other animals too, one was a bearcat and one had single macaque, both looked miserable in their small dirty enclosures with no stimulation what so ever, same for the monitor lizard and some other animals. At the far end it looked like there was an enclosure for birds maybe? But it was empty and run down. The so called crocodile show was not much to write home about either, just 2 guys poking the 2 alligators with sticks to get some kind of reaction out of them, they got one of them out of the water and one guy walked on the back of the crocodile and the other guy put his arm in the mouth, that’s it, the show lasted for maybe 10 minutes? After that it was feeding time, they threw in some half rotten chickens that you could smell from far away and the crocodiles didn’t even bother to take any of them. Would i recommend a visit to this place? Unfortunately no, it’s just not worth the trip and the cost of entrance fee, again, this could be a nice place to visit if it was kept up, clean and better enclosures for the animals but as it is now I can not recommend it at all.

A Thrilling and Heartwarming visit As first-time visitors, our family had an absolutely unforgettable day at Ladang Buaya Tuaran! Right from the start, we were met with such a warm welcome, which immediately made us feel right at home. The experience kicked off on a high note, as we got the chance to have a photography session with a baby crocodile straight away—a unique and exciting moment for all of us. The park is incredibly family-oriented and considerate. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that admission is free for senior citizens (warga emas) and children under three, which is a wonderful gesture that makes the attraction accessible for the whole family. The entire setting is very kid-friendly, and I was particularly impressed with the clean and well-maintained toilets. Of course, the absolute highlight was the crocodile show! The suspense was palpable as the skilled stunt performer interacted with the massive crocodiles. Watching him bravely kiss and pose with one of the giants was a breathtaking spectacle that had us all on the edge of our seats. Beyond the thrilling main event, there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy. We loved watching the majestic arapaima and colourful koi fish swimming in their ponds, and the kids were delighted by the cute rabbits. It’s clear that this isn't just a crocodile farm but a well-rounded animal park. We had a fantastic time and are already planning our next visit. I'm especially looking forward to checking out the leather products in their shop. Highly recommended for a fun, clean, and exciting day out for all ages!

This place is a damn long way out, with a single-lane road for the last 7 kilometers—traffic jams all the way. When you finally get there, you face two different entrance fees: 35 MYR for foreigners and 18 MYR for locals. But the real shock hits once you step inside. Honestly, I’d say this feels more like a dump than a crockodile farm. The crocodiles are stuck in algae-covered, rusty concrete pits with dirty water. Some even have visible infections around their snouts, which is really concerning. I politely asked the staff multiple times to turn down the incredibly loud music blasting nonstop, but it never stopped. A place like this should be calm and peaceful so visitors can enjoy the animals—not overwhelmed by noise. The whole facility looks neglected and rundown. Considering all that, the prices are way too high for what you get. Overall, this place has a lot of room for improvement if they want visitors to have a decent experience and, more importantly, if they want to properly care for the animals.

I recently visited the Tuaran Crocodile Farm during my trip to the area and had mixed feelings about my experience. While the farm offered a unique opportunity to witness these incredible reptiles up close, the high entrance fee for foreigners left me with some reservations.

Let's start with the positive aspects of the visit. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the feeding time. Witnessing the magnificent view of crocodiles being fed was a thrilling and awe-inspiring experience. The farm boasts a vast number of crocodiles, and seeing them in action during their mealtime was truly amazing. The feeding session provided an opportunity to observe the raw power and agility of these creatures, leaving a lasting impression.

However, the major downside was the steep entrance fee for foreign visitors. It felt disproportionately expensive compared to what the farm offered. While I understand that maintaining a crocodile farm involves significant costs, it would have been more reasonable to have a more affordable rate for international tourists. This pricing structure may deter many potential visitors, which is unfortunate considering the unique experience the farm offers.

On the other hand, if you are a local resident or fortunate enough to pay the lower local prices, I would definitely recommend visiting the Tuaran Crocodile Farm. The sheer number of crocodiles in the farm is astonishing, and it provides an educational experience for all ages. The farm also offers informative guides who share interesting facts about crocodile behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts.

Despite the high cost for foreigners, I believe that Tuaran Crocodile Farm is still worth a visit, especially if you have a genuine interest in these fascinating creatures. If you are willing to overlook the pricing issue and focus on the unique opportunity to observe crocodiles up close, you will likely have an enjoyable time.

In conclusion, the Tuaran Crocodile Farm offers an incredible experience for those who appreciate the marvels of nature. The feeding time is a true spectacle, and the sheer number of crocodiles in the farm is impressive. However, the expensive entrance fee for foreigners may be off-putting, and it would be more reasonable if the pricing were adjusted. Nonetheless, if you can secure local rates, I highly recommend visiting this farm and embracing the opportunity to witness these magnificent...
