Driving towards the farm was enjoyable as is a small narrow road. The road gets bumpy nearer to the farm. The kids enjoy the small bumpy ride. There's a small hiccup at the entrance regards to entrance fee as local and non local for the children hence it kinda spoil the 'first impression' moment. Nevertheless the surrounding of natural will be more welcoming than the entrance. The view and the air you take in is PURE priceless. Kids are able to roam around and explore the wonders of natural in a tropical farm. Just be prepared even though you have those mozzie sticker/ repellent on, you'll still get suck by them. C'mon you're in the farm and because you're new, you are tastier.

We met the owner Mr Hong who took good 40 years to plan and keep this farm running. How amazing! He's friendly and very knowledgeable. If you're lucky you'll find him in an "ice cream" motorbike. He explained the history of the land, the mother natural, animals, the list goes on. He is an absolute charm and he take pride with his farm! All animals are free range here. They are not tied up. They eat whatever is planted in the farm too. He solved my entrance issue too

I can't tell you much, as you need to go out there with the kids to explore yourself. Feel it and love what Mother Nature has to offer. Let kids be kids and enjoy what we had in our childhood. Those childhood memories we had is so much difference from the screen we have now.

At the entrance there's a baby facilities. But I won't really suggest to bring infant as it might get too hot from the sun. Bring your sunscreen, hat, shades, mozzie cream. There's a canteen there too, where you can get some drinks, snack or...

Good natural environment with fun and nice interaction with animals. Place is well maintained and really appreciate the hospitality of the staff. However, wish they can improve on a few things to attract more people and be more sustainable in the long run.

Roads heading to and away from Borneo Happy Farm were small and rough RM40/30 for Msians a bit pricey with more to spend for photo session, zipline, horse ride, animal feeding etc once inside. Even the buggy ride is not free and costs RM12 per person. All the extra charges feels a bit off putting, as if I'm in China. Wish for some free perks like free drinks during the hot weather but there aren't any... Enjoyed the educational aspects of this trip but felt it's not enough (I want to learn more!) The speaker's speaker also not working during my visit. Pity her she has to speak loudly to get her voice heard.. Wish for more animals. Where are the birds and insects? Why the otter cage so dirty and hard to see through..? Few picture boards are dirty and mouldy. Few stamp pads for the stamps also drying out. No clear instruction to walk after spice garden area.. No more clear signs or imprinted footsteps on the floor. maybe it's not the season so we don't see any fruits at the orchard garden area. The spice and herbs area also felt not as well maintained

Just voicing out my two cents because I'm rooting for you! Wish this place can be better to even further boost...

Not recommended. Overpriced for services/facilities offered. Tried overnight for the new Borneo Happy Farm Stay.

The Home Stay Itself: - Blackout twice Kitchen sink need to press button to use, concurrently. So most of the time, we need one person to press, another one to wash hand/spoon etc. Got hot water facilities but the water is not hot. Got netflix account but unstable lines so most of the time cant watch. Got hair dryer so super low power, cool wind. Normally can get my hair dried within 30min, this one need an hour. Limited meal option during the night. Wood chalet. But we book the whole chalet with 4 rooms. If sharing with others, do note the noise is very loud for every noise includes walking.

Borneo Happy Farm: Was not told if overnight, will not be able to collect stamp to get lucky draw. Even though paid rm500/room/night. Should have inform during check in, make kids disappointed when they run everywhere to collect the stamp. The lucky draw wheel even include option where you are “requested” to make a review if your lucky draw wheel hits that selection. The good option is either you get tickets or discounts for next trip. I dont think i will ever go again. Limited animals options, mostly common animals like cow, sheep, snake… For photo booth, will invite you to take pic without telling payment needed. Will only collect payment after took your...

Frankly, I can see that the owners and the staff of this Borneo Happy Farm tries to ensure the knowledge of the flora and fauna is displayed in this Farm. Amazingly, there is information on insects, birds, reptiles, flowers, fruits, fishes and so many more about plants, trees, etc etc being incorporated on its displays. There is also information about Borneo and its history which I couldn't cover as it was indiscreetly set up at the Datuk's House outside the canteen, it could be easily missed. But since it rained heavily and we came later than expected after making a wrong turn, it was also almost the last ride for the shuttle bus too. Staff at all locations are very friendly and well trained. The shuttle bus drivers are very kind and helpful, bringing up and down wheelchair, ensuring elders have ladder to climb up, and very patient. The Guinea Wonderland has many well trained guinea pigs doing their rounds, really fun for even adults, and I must also say young children too. It was good that it is also wheelchair thoughtful, but there seemed to be only 2 for rental by deposit only of 50RM, refunded upon return. Four of us seniors enjoyed much, and I would like to return to know and learn more of the collections of flora and fauna. By the way, the canteen also has information of the tribes in Sarawak and some interesting collections of drums and musical instruments.

There are a few things to take note : 1. This place is suitable for the young and old. It will be more fun if a few families with children make a trip together. 2. It's a good idea and more economical to buy the RM10/pax buggy ticket which is valid for the whole day from any station. Believe me there will be at least one member of your family who will be too tired to walk. 3. Wear suitable shoes and attire for walking. Bring along a towel to wipe away sweat. 4. There are enough toilets to use throughout a trip. 5. There are also vending machines selling cold drinks. Do bring enough small change. The machines accept notes and coins. So not much need to bring water. Remember 1 big bottle of water = 1.25 kg 6. Don't miss their new feature, that is lot the playground. Their ice-cream bun is a must try. ONLY RM3 for one big bun filled with 2 big scoops of ice cream. You can choose the ice cream flavours. 7. Be prepared to spend a bit more for a more fun trip for the following : a. Horse ride : RM10 /pax b. Zipline : RM25/pax or RM40 for 2 persons c. Grass and leaves for some of the animals d. Photo taking with some of the animals 8. Do stop long at every station so that you especially your children will learn about the animals. 9. The management prioritises very much farm cleanliness and the patrons' safety. Thumbs up for this.
