This is my hometown, the place is cold and everyone is very friendly, even the animals there are safe to pet and the scenery is BEAUTIFUL! It is very safe even for children (if they have permission to walk around, if still in kindergarten, still may need adult supervison) overall, the plavetis amazing. Worth the rough travel (or by plane, which is faster but you won't be able to experience what it's like for the people there to travel and you won't be able to see many place closely though but you can still witness the beauty on the way) looks of Buffalos which is very cool! I love ba'kelalan and all the kampungs there! No matter which village you decided to stay at, you will meet very nice people there, children are playful and can be very kind, elders are nice and very affectionate towards people they care for, adults and teens are kind! The traditional foods are delicious! I love nuba lays for its sticky texture that can stick what you want to eat with it. It's cold there so may need to bring jackets. Overall, ba'kelalan is a very calming and adventurous place (there's A few rivers you can swim in!)...
