Gunung Ngeli Trail — Attraction in Sarawak

The trail had better beginnings before with toilets at start point and midway. They are closed for some time. Nevertheless it is a very pleasant trail with interesting insects, bugs, butterflies and birds. Spotted a colourful Assasin bug. Not a difficult climb, but there are slippery sections where steps had dislodged and tilted. Do not expect to hit the peak. A moderate trail that takes about 45 mins to climb up the hill to the top, with a spectacular view of the massive oil palm plantations that cover the landscape and distant mountains. There are 4 resting huts, and they are currently building some facilities at the top.
