A local told me that pandan beach is also known as the "green sea" because the water's reflection is slightly green (though I don't think it is at all green), and the seashore is dotted with tiny rocks and shells. Coconut shells and leaves were heaped up along the top side shore. At the first 1 to 1.5 m of the tide, the water is so clear that you can see through the bottom; goggles are recommended at deeper seas. Worth going to in Lundu after hiking Mount Kubah.

After finished the Gunung Gading hiking, took a little walk along the beach. Few entry road way to same beach at different point. Find your carpark in convenient way. Its long journey from kuching city to here. New roadway still in construction and take a U turn before entering to Lundu town and then the Gunung Gading Park. And the beach is near to Lundu town.

I always look forward to visiting this beach whenever I'm in Kuching, as I consider it one of the best in Sarawak. The fine sand, inviting warm waters (outside of monsoon season), and abundant seashells never fail to amaze me. There are also some food and drink stalls at the designated parking lot.
